I work for an non-smoking org, an airport. I understand the laws and policy of non-smoking areas,
around the airport. Expecially where employees work and passengers are cummuting thru the airport.
There is a 8 floor garage. And now they don’t even want you to smoke on the 8th floor where there
is no ceiling just open air and vehicles. Are you kidding me? Are you taking the non-smoking policy
to far, in my interpetatiion hell yes. I believe in being fair to all if I agree with it or not. There is only
one person in outside the terminal to smoke at the extreme south end, which is otherwise know as
bum fuck egypt (no offense arabs). A good 5 min walk from the terminal. And then you still have
to get back to your concourse on time as not to miss your plane.
This is an ongoing fight everywhere for folks to quit smoking. Ok folks let’s be real, do you really think
you can put the Tabacco Industry out of business? Let’s be real here we are talking billions of dollars.
Mainly in political money, and foreign investments. Be fair destinate areas that are comparable to
the nessisty of the traveler. Have you ever seen a smoker afterr 4-5hrs on a plane. Watch out it is
not a pretty site, these folks are really aggitated. Now they got walk a mile to have a smoke my God.
Let’s try to find a happy median for smokers and non smokers.
