IF YOU’VE ever wandered around a Harley Davidson showroom, you’ll know that they are often quite intimidating places – all that chrome can be so beautiful it’s easy to forget that the purpose of the machines is to be ridden. So, Harley-Davidson is working hard to dispel the ‘look, don’t touch’ myth and get riders out on a test ride.
The legendary company has launched an online booking system at www.harley-davidson.co.uk that enables motorcyclists to book test rides. Customers can choose from a range of existing Harley-Davidson motorcycles, while to mark the launch of the new system, any rider taking advantage of a test ride between 9 April and 3 May will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a Fat Boy Special.

Produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Fat Boy motorcycle, the special is darker and lower than the standard model and is worth more than £15,000.

It is available to test ride throughout the year along with other models in the 2010 range and test ride slots can be booked online here with a list of available bikes at your nearest dealership on view.

Motorcyclists booking a test ride must have held a full motorcycle licence for a minimum of 12 months.
