Houston! We’ve Got A Problem! Whitney Houston has resumed her European tour, but she can’t hit the high notes…. and it’s embarrassing! She looks haggard, and she sweats profusely while performing. According to Houston, despite battling an upper respiratory infection, she is in good health. This tour has turned into a disaster. She needs money because she never wrote or produced her own music. Right now, the only way she can make money is by touring. Now she could write a book, but there’s the question: will she tell the truth? Will it be an honest book about her life with Bobby Brown and the years of drug abuse?
Ash Cloud Forces Whitney Tour into Ferry Boat. Turns out neither bad reviews, nor a respiratory infection, nor a volcanic ash cloud can stop Whitney Houston from keeping dates on her European tour. The singer was forced to take a ferry from Britain to Ireland, after the ash from a volcanic eruption in Iceland continued to spread across northern Europe for a second day, grounding all flights in the area and disrupting air travel around the world. The 46-year-old pop diva, who performed in Britain this week as part of her Nothing But Love tour, took a car ferry across the Irish Sea to Dublin where she is to play three concerts beginning Saturday night. “When Whitney was made aware of the airport closures due to the volcanic ash, she made the decision to drive from Birmingham to Dublin via the ferry so that she would not disappoint her Irish fans,” her promotion company said. “She is delighted to be in Ireland and is very much looking forward to performing.” A spokeswoman for Stenaline said the ferry firm received a booking for Houston and her entourage for the three-hour trip on board the “Nordica” superferry across to Dublin. Houston arrived in London last week from France, where she was forced to pull out of a concert after being hospitalized in the French capital with a respiratory infection. Video clips from her performances show that Houston continues to struggle with her vocals, to put it nicely.
