Melania Trump slams Ivana for calling herself first lady

First lady Melania Trump's office fired back at President Trump's ex-wife Ivana on Monday after she boasted of her access to the White House and even referred to herself as the real "first lady."

In an interview with “Good Morning America” to promote her new book “Raising Trump,” Ivana Trump said she and the president speak “about once every 14 days.”

“I have the direct number to White House, but I no really want to call him there because Melania is there,” she said. “I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife.”

She added with a laugh: “I’m first lady, okay?”

But Melania Trump’s office said there “is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex.”

“This is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise,” the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, said in a statement to Fox News.

“Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President. She loves living in Washington, D.C. and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States,” Grisham said, slamming Ivana’s book-promotion. “She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.”

In the interview, Ivana went on to share some of the advice she apparently shares with her ex-husband:

“Sometimes I tell him to just not to speak that much, okay?”

When asked about the president’s tweeting habits, and how she would feel if her children -- Ivanka, Eric and Donald Trump Jr. -- used that “language” to describe people, she noted that they were always “very good” and that she never needed to discipline them.

When asked how she would feel if they used the word “loser” to describe someone, she said, “I think they sometimes call people losers. If they are losers, they are losers, okay?”

Big W's controversial decision to "ban" Christmas

Retail giant Big W has made a controversial call on Christmas products, in a move that’s been described by shoppers as “political correctness gone mad”.

The department store has removed all reference of Christmas from their range of seasonal tree products, with boxes and signage scrubbed of any mention to the holiday.

The traditional Christmas tree product is now being sold as a “Grand Pine Tree”, while the snow-covered version is being spruiked as a “White Forest Tree”.

Christmas Tree Farm owner Fabian Iuele told News Limited the decision from the department store to ignore the origin of the holiday products was disheartening.

“That’s really sad. It ignores the religious element and history of the holiday which is still important to people,” he said.

“People have been traditionally calling these types of tree Christmas trees for years.

“Those store trees are made of plastic anyway so they don’t have an alternative scientific name like the ones we grow.

“We get people from other religions purchasing our trees regularly but they always know that they’re called Christmas trees like everybody else does.”

Cameron Harrison, of Williamstown, a regular customer at his local Big W outlet in Highpoint said removing the word “Christmas” was a pointless exercise.

“It seems like an over-reaction to a problem that’s not really there,” he said.

“Christmas did have a religious meaning but we are not a religious country. I think it’s more of a tradition these days.”

A Big W spokeswoman hit back at these claims in a statement.

“We know that many of our customers get really excited about Christmas and a number of customers like to co-ordinate their home Christmas decorations,” she said.

“In order to assist our customers co-ordinate their Christmas trees and decorations, we label packaging with key Christmas themes.”

What are your thoughts? Are Big W doing the right thing by making their products inclusive to all Australians, or is it a case of political correctness gone mad?

Why Did George Bush Buy Nearly 300,000 acres in Paraguay?

We haven’t either, to be honest. But former president George W. Bush apparently had. Maybe you missed it, but he purchased all that land back in the glory days of 2005 and 2006. Maybe he thought he was investing in the next great retirement destination…

We can see it now… strip malls in their dozens, tracts of identical houses from horizon to horizon, fleets of Buicks and Cadillacs doing 22 in a 30.

Or maybe the Bush clan had something else in mind when they purchased all that acreage in the remote Chaco region of Paraguay…

After all, it does seem an unlikely retirement destination. Bush’s judgment may not have always been the best, but still…

The Chaco is a semiarid, sparsely populated area known — to the extent that it’s known at all — for its abundant wildlife, rapid deforestation, nothing in particular… and what lies beneath it

Jody says he has a “secret” about the Bushes. And he adds, “It has to do with an investment idea that’s hardly on anyone’s radar.”

The real reason Jody thinks Bush 43 and family snapped up nearly 300,000 acres in those semiarid, sparsely populated wastes of Paraguay?

    Water.

That’s right, blue gold. Bush bought the rights to a veritable ocean of fresh, clear-as-glass, Grade A water.

His land rests atop one of the largest freshwater aquifers in the world: Acuifero Guarani, by name.

According to Jody, “Acuifero Guarani covers roughly 460,000 square miles under parts of Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. It is estimated to contain about 8,900 cubic miles of water.”

If you can’t quite imagine 8,900 miles of water, picture a pool nearly three times the size of California. That should give you a decent idea.

A fair amount when you consider that 98% of this planet’s water is salt water.

Of the other 2%, almost 87% of it is trapped within glaciers, hence inaccessible. Jody’s “trusty calculator” informs him that only 0.25% of the water on this cosmic ball is fresh (underground, or in rivers and lakes). Just a drop in the figurative bucket…

“Wouldn’t you love to know what high-level intelligence the Bush family has been privy to over the years that would make them go out and buy hundreds of thousands of acres of water rights in a remote South American country?”

How cheeky of Jody to raise such an impertinent question. But perhaps W knows something we plebeians don’t? Think of all the secret intelligence crossing that fancy English oak desk in the Oval Office.

And do pause for a moment to consider the investing opportunities this could potentially provide. We mention only in passing that his old man happened to be the head of the CIA at one point…

You needn’t own a tinfoil hat to raise an eyebrow here.

Jody came across a piece of 2008 research from Credit Suisse estimating that two-thirds of the world’s population is likely to live under “water-stressed” conditions by 2025. Quite a lot of people, that, and 2025 isn’t exactly the distant future.

You know about the historic drought conditions afflicting California and much of the Western U.S. But Brazil and other parts of South America are also in serious drought. And guess, dear reader, who happens to own a lot of neighborhood water rights? (Out of respect for your intelligence, we won’t answer that one.)

Makes us scratch our head just a bit, though. Does Bush know something none of us knows?

Cleveland Browns Sign RB O.J. Simpson To 2-Year Deal Worth 14 Million

BEREA, OH – The Cleveland Browns are looking to be anything more than an embarrassment this season, and with Brock Osweiler at quarterback, the team is looking for someone they can hand the ball of too.

They may have found their guy.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Browns and O.J. Simpson have agreed to terms on a 2-year contract worth 14 million, with 5 million of that money guaranteed.

“We thought he was the type of player worth taking a stab at,” new Browns GM Sashi Brown told reporters after news broke. “We’ve gone over the film and the guy is obviously talented.”

The veteran Simspon will join a backfield that includes Isiah Crowell and Duke Johnson, who will likely take most of the first or second down snaps.

“He’s not to good when it comes to first or seconds chances, so we think he’ll be a crucial third down back for us,” Brown added. “He doesn’t use firepower, but can really knife through the defense to get those short-yard pickups”

According to Schefter, Simpson’s contract has numerous incentives including Pro-Bowl appearances, Super Bowl appearances (LOL), any runs longer than the one he had in his white Bronco, and the ability to not murder anyone during the length of his contract..

After the announcement, Simpson, now 70, spoke with reporters saying, “I may be old, but no defense scares me. I’ve been a part of the best defense in history, this is child’s play.”

Simpson was also asked if he was excited to play in Cleveland, which he jokingly responded with, “I thought they said I was leaving prison?”

Michael Flynn Misled Pentagon About His Russia Ties

Michael Flynn had been ordered by the Senate Intelligence Committee to hand over emails and other records related to any dealings with Russians as part of that panel’s investigation into Russian election meddling. His decision to invoke his Fifth Amendment right puts him at risk of being held in contempt of Congress, which can also result in a criminal charge.

Mr. Flynn’s lawyer, Robert Kelner, did not respond to a request for comment.

The controversies surrounding the Trump White House’s ties to Russia have overshadowed the early months of the new administration, and Mr. Flynn has been at the center of the maelstrom. He is under scrutiny both by congressional committees and by federal law enforcement agencies for his ties to Russia and his business dealings with Turkey.

In February, Mr. Trump asked James B. Comey, then the F.B.I. director, to end the FBI investigation into Flynn , a request some legal experts have said amounts to obstruction of justice.

Lawmakers had previously asserted that Mr. Flynn had failed to disclose the income he had received for the Moscow trip to obtain security clearance to work in the White House, but the letter released on Monday shows he had misled investigators during a previous attempt to renew his clearance, months before Mr. Trump won election.

Mr. Cummings quoted directly from the Pentagon report detailing his clearance process. The Pentagon document itself, a “Report of Investigation” from March 2016, was not included with his letter sent to Representative Jason Chaffetz, the Utah Republican who is the chairman of the oversight committee.

As Mr. Flynn’s legal problems have accumulated, White House officials have tried to distance themselves from him. They have also tried to shift blame, pointing out that it was during the Obama administration that his security clearance was renewed. Mr. Flynn, a former three-star general, ran the Defense Intelligence Agency from mid-2012 until 2014.

The House committee has asked the White House to turn over all documents used by Mr. Trump’s transition team to vet Mr. Flynn before naming him national security adviser, as well as any communications among Mr. Trump’s top aides about Mr. Flynn’s contacts with foreign officials.

The White House has thus far refused the request. Mr. Cummings has been pushing Mr. Chaffetz to issue a subpoena demanding the documents.

Previous documents released by the oversight committee revealed that Mr. Flynn was paid more than $65,000 by companies linked to Russia in 2015. In addition to RT, Mr. Flynn received $11,250 from a Russian cargo airline, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, which had been implicated in a bribery scheme involving Russian officials at the United Nations. In October 2015, he was paid another $11,250 by Kaspersky Government Security Solutions, the American branch of a Russian cybersecurity firm.

Retired generals are ordinarily allowed to keep a clearance as a courtesy, but they also must report all income from foreign sources to the Pentagon. Possessing a security clearance opens up potentially lucrative jobs with government contractors, who prize the contacts and insider knowledge of retired generals.

“While we recognize General Flynn’s constitutional right to invoke the Fifth Amendment, we are disappointed he has chosen to disregard the committee’s subpoena request for documents relevant and necessary to our investigation,” they said in a joint statement. “We will vigorously pursue General Flynn’s testimony and his production of any and all pertinent materials pursuant to the committee’s authorities.”

    ROBERT KNIGHT

Criminals who appear to be voters

In the City of Brotherly Love, you can retain your voter registration no matter what crime you commit. That's because election officials refuse to take convicted felons off the voter rolls even if they're still serving time in jail.

One potential voter is convicted baby murderer Kermit Gosnell. In May 2013, in a case that shocked the nation, Gosnell was convicted of first-degree murder for killing fully developed babies born alive at his abortion clinic by severing their spines with scissors. He got three life terms, the latter for killing a baby that he joked was so large it could "walk to the bus." Nine of his former clinic workers were also convicted, and four others pled guilty to murder.

Despite this history of savagery, Gosnell, 75, is still registered to vote in Philadelphia. He is listed as inactive, most likely because he has not voted in five years. However, if he were to show up at the polls, he would be permitted to vote even if he is on inactive status if he showed an ID.

If you don't vote in two federal elections, you can be removed. But the mass murderer is still on the rolls. Why leave him there?

Also still registered to vote is Philadelphia's former 11-term Democratic Congressman Chaka Fattah, who was convicted of racketeering and in January began serving 10 years, the second-longest prison term ever for a former member of Congress. The top dishonor belongs to former Democratic Rep. William J. Jefferson of Louisiana, some of whose cash bribes were found in his home freezer. He was sentenced to 13 years in 2009.

Fattah's son, Chaka "Chip" Jr. is also a famous felon who remains on Philadelphia's voting rolls. The younger Fattah received five years in prison in February 2016 for bank and tax fraud.

Although city officials maintain that Pennsylvania law limits felons' voting rights based on their incarcerated status, a city attorney admitted that if someone were to "put a polling place in the prison," felons on the rolls would be permitted to vote. They just can't vote by absentee ballot. Or can they?

inmates in orange jumpsuitsThe absurdly shifting legal stance was exposed on April 27 during a court hearing in American Civil Rights Union v. Philadelphia City Commissioners at the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. While lawyers for the ACRU made the case that the National Voter Registration Act (motor voter) and the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) require states to remove from the rolls all ineligible voters – including convicted felons – the city dug in its heels, contending that Pennsylvania law only requires removing the deceased and people who move away.

The issue arose last year when an ACRU lawsuit forced the city to open its records, revealing thousands of noncitizens and convicted felons registered to vote. Since then, the city has refused to police the rolls.

During the hearing in Philadelphia, city lawyers admitted that convicted felons on furlough could vote while outside prison if "incarceration" was the only disqualifier, not their status as convicted criminals. One hearing participant joked about an "Election Day Furlough" when "they could all go out and vote" and then be returned to prison.

"This is no joking matter," said J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which filed the suit on the ACRU's behalf. "Philadelphia's voting rolls are seriously corrupt, and they not only won't do anything to fix the situation, they think it's actually funny. This is a disgrace."

Last September, a U.S. District court ruled that federal law does not require city election officials to remove convicts from the rolls unless state law provides an explicit procedure for removal.

"But this reading is incorrect," the ACRU brief notes, citing NVRA's and HAVA's express direction to all election officials to remove ineligible voters and keep registration lists accurate.

"A person who is incarcerated for a felony in Pennsylvania cannot vote in any way and cannot register to vote while incarcerated." the brief states. "List maintenance [under federal law] is not merely permissible, it is mandatory."

And so it goes in a city where in 2012, some 59 voting divisions recorded not a single vote for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, and where election officials see no problem with keeping ineligible voters like convicted felons Kermit Gosnell and Chaka Fattah on the rolls.

Holding  Your Child Hostage for Money - Really?

I woke up at 6am this morning with this on my mind.  Having prior conversation with a friend last night upset me.  This article is coming from my observations, experiences, marriage, and divorce.   First off let's begin with your child or children are a gift from God.  Secondly they did not ask YOU to be here.  So  state or vicissitude of life or fortune, here is a baby.  Now the baby is here what kind of Mother are you going to be?

You love this child nuture this child, education, growth, strength, courage, family, understanding human differences.  Now as you go thru life marriage, separated, single parent what legacy will you leave your child or children.  IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY?

I get so perterb with you Mothers that hold your child or children hostage for the money.  Here are a few examples I have observed.  1. Don't pay child support, he don't see his child.  (so now your child has become a commodity)  2.  I need all that support check to pay my bills.  (in the meantime where is the child's clothes, shoes, hair done, after school activities)  3.  You can't keep a budget so your always using the child or children's money to make up for your mistakes!   4.  Your child or children are at the age to work and help.  (your oppportunity to teach them financial education.  Instead you take most of their money earn, and then make them feel guility for wanting to keep any for themselves)  5.  You make the child or children feel like a burden on you.  (You made the choice to open your legs and become pregnant).

AGAIN, A CHILD OR CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM GOD!  PERIOD!

So this is how you handle your gifts?  What are you like on your Birthdays or Christmas time?  You sit back and take a pause about all the mental anquish in this country today, and forget it begins at home, the root of the source.

Who doesn't want or need money?  Using your children to get it, is a sad commentary for a Parent(s).   Some folks will use their kids just to get a Welfare check or a SSI check.  Use their names for bills or credit.  (when they are grown wonder why they have no credit, it has already been burned by your Parent.)   Karma is a bitch, and know one but God knows when pay day is coming OK!!!!!

    SOLUTION:

Teach your child or children the value of money and how to use it.   Not hold them hostage for your own benefits.  Look at yourself, how are you living.  Are you living above your means?  Then take a course in basic economics help yourself, and family.  We are not always taught about money when we grow up.  We see Parent(s) paying the bills, but don't understand the process of why.  If your receive child support or not the main rememberance is the gift that God has place in your hands to grown and nuture.  Money will not give you that love a child has for you total and unconditional.   Not understanding what money is gives them fear of not having enough.  If know one has told you today that they love you, well I do!

    Thank you,  Lennis

CELL  FOOD - Oxygen a must!

    Cellfood

    Cellfood Dietary Supplement

    Introduction to Cellfood

Cellfood is a proprietary formula produced by NuScience Corporation in an FDA-compliant facility that is GMP certified by the Natural Products Association. Cellfood contains deuterium sulfate, ionic trace minerals, trace enzymes, and trace amino acids. It provides an unsurpassed oxygen and nutrient delivery system, and is absorbed quickly and efficiently by the body. Cellfood’s unique structure oxygenates and feeds the cells— cleaning and tuning up the body’s systems throughout the day. Cellfood is made from plant substances, and is yeast-free and gluten-free.

Cellfood is created by a proprietary process in which these nutrient-rich plant substances are held in a negatively-charged suspension of deuterium sulfate (an isotope of hydrogen). The result is a remarkable formulation which— by utilizing the same technology used decades ago to split the atom— actually ‘dissociates’ (splits) water molecules within the body by weakening the bonding electrons, and gives birth to cascades of vital, life-giving oxygen. This newly-born oxygen, combined with an array of vital nutrients, is carried throughout he body— cleaning, toning and building the cells and tissues hour after hour, day after day. Since our bodies are over two-thirds water, this oxygen and hydrogen source is virtually unlimited.

    How does Cellfood work?

When you mix Cellfood with purified water or juice and ingest it, its proprietary water-splitting action begins the moment you take the first sip. This cascading time release of oxygen typically peaks within 8-12 hours, and then keeps working hour after hour. Cellfood releases oxygen whenever and wherever it’s needed— and if no longer needed, no more is released. And, its essential natural minerals, enzymes, amino acids and electrolytes are delivered simultaneously throughout the body on the deepest cellular level.

Cellfood is a miracle of electromagnetic design. Since Cellfood is colloidal and negatively charged— just like the blood and lymph fluid— there is a natural synchronicity between these fluids. Cellfood and its nutrients move through the cell walls easily, and its vital nutrients are absorbed and assimilated quickly and efficiently. And, Cellfood is a di-pole, di-base delivery system, delivering its nutrients to the cells and tissues under any conditions. (Di-pole means Cellfood is effective in any polarity range of the body; di-base means it’s effective in any pH range and will tend to normalize the body’s acid/base balance). Therefore, Cellfood is exceptional as an overall delivery system not only for its own nutrients, but also for any other nutrients or substances introduced into the body within the same 24 hour period. Notably, there is no known toxicity associated with Cellfood.

Importantly, Cellfood won’t create free radical damage. Free radicals— believed to be a primary cause of aging— are positively charged ions of oxygen. Since Cellfood’s released oxygen molecules are negatively charged, they seek out and attract these dangerous free radicals, joining with them to form stabilized oxygen.

     - What is it?

CELLFOOD is the world’s #1 selling oxygen + nutrient supplement. For more than 45 years, NuScience Corporation has manufactured Everett Storey’s original CELLFOOD formula containing trace minerals, trace enzymes, and trace amino acids.

Cellfood – Free radical scavenger (powerful antioxidant)

Free radicals are atoms (or groups of atoms) that are missing an electron. These highly reactive molecules become even more dangerous in the human body when they react with and damage other important cellular components like DNA. Antioxidants are directly responsible for the prevention of cellular damage by neutralizing and eliminating free radicals. In a recent study, CELLFOOD was shown to decrease excess free radical activity by up to 27%.

Cellfood – Helps detoxify the body and balance pH

CELLFOOD’s colloidal and ionic formula has a negative charge (as measure by Zeta potential testing). This negatively charged solution (like blood and lymph) allows for the rapid absorption and assimilation of nutrients. This process enables the body to more efficiently eliminate toxins and balance pH.

    Cellfood – Athletic performance enhancement

In addition to the numerous general health benefits, CELLFOOD has now become the supplement of choice for many professional athletes. In a study conducted at the University of Pretoria, CELLFOOD was shown to increase oxygen uptake (VO2 Max), increase ferretin (iron storage), and decrease lactic acid accumulation (muscular fatigue).

    Cellfood – Ingredients

CELLFOOD is made from the finest substances. CELLFOOD does not contain any ingredients that are on the “list of banned substances” for professional and amateur athletic competitions and associations. CELLFOOD is non-addictive, non-invasive, and completely non-toxic when taken as directed.

Journalist Reveals Tactics Brainwashing Industry Uses to Manipulate the Public

Our reality is carefully constructed by powerful corporate, political and special interest sources in order to covertly sway public opinion. Blatant lies are often televised regarding terrorism, food, war, health, etc. They are fashioned to sway public opinion and condition viewers to accept what have become destructive societal norms.

The practice of manipulating and controlling public opinion with distorted media messages has become so common that there is a whole industry formed around this. The entire role of this brainwashing industry is to figure out how to spin information to journalists, similar to the lobbying of government. It is never really clear just how much truth the journalists receive because the news industry has become complacent. The messages that it presents are shaped by corporate powers who often spend millions on advertising with the six conglomerates that own 90% of the media:  General Electric (GE), News-Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, and CBS. Yet, these corporations function under many different brands, such as Fox, ABC, CNN, Comcast, Wall Street Journal, etc, giving people the perception of choice.

“As Tavistock’s researchers showed, it was important that the victims of mass brainwashing not be aware that their environment was being controlled; there should thus be a vast number of sources for information, whose messages could be varied slightly, so as to mask the sense of external control.” ~ Specialist of mass brainwashing, L. Wolfe

    New Brainwashing Tactics Called Astroturf

With alternative media on the rise, the propaganda machine continues to expand. Below is a video of Sharyl Attkisson, investigative reporter with CBS, during which she explains how “astroturf,” or fake grassroots movements, are used to spin information not only to influence journalists but to sway public opinion.

“Astroturf is a perversion of grassroots. Astroturf is when political, corporate or other special interests disguise themselves and publish blogs, start facebook and twitter accounts, publish ads, letters to the editor, or simply post comments online, to try to fool you into thinking an independent or grassroots movement is speaking.” ~ Sharyl Attkisson, Investigative Reporter

How do you separate fact from fiction? Sharyl Attkisson finishes her talk with some insights on how to identify signs of propaganda and astroturf.

Here is a summary of astroturf tactics. Once you’re aware of them, you will notice just how popular they have truly become:

    • Creating of Wikipedia pages, monitored by corporations.
    • Creating a social media presence, including Facebook and Twitter accounts, run by paid professionals.
    • Secretly funding non-profit organizations to create third-party support and web presence.
    • Search engine optimizing web pages such as blogs and third-party sites that support a specific agenda.
    • Financing industry research that is deceitfully presented as independent opinion.

These methods are used to give people the impression that there is widespread support for an agenda, when, in reality, one may not exist. Astroturf tactics are also used to discredit or criticize those that disagree with certain agendas, using stereotypical names such as conspiracy theorist or quack. When in fact when someone dares to reveal the truth or questions the ‘official’ story, it should spark a deeper curiosity and encourage further scrutiny of the information.

Maxine Waters Explains That Impeachment Tweet

Congresswoman Maxine Waters wants you to "stay woke!" She also wants you to know that she loves the Constitution, she's angling for impeachment, and she, actually, does have some thoughts about your mac and cheese.

Maxine Waters is the real deal. And she's been the real deal for decades now. Unlike many people and events that catch viral attention (and sure, Waters has done that, too), Congresswoman Waters actually has the record to back it up. And so in January, when I wrote that Congresswoman Waters "would like to cordially invite you to not come for her unless she sends for you," I was writing about the breathtaking read that captured the attention of millions as well as a long history of taking politicians down a peg. Washington has been peg-deficient for years, and Waters has been there to take them down. Maxine Waters did not come to play today or yesterday or any of the days of her 37 years of public service.

Congresswoman Waters is aware of what the Internet has to say about her. She has asked her grandchildren to explain shade to her and she is caught up on the tea. And it turns out, she loves it. In an interview during ELLE's 2017 Women in Washington event, the iconic representative talks about millennial political engagement, her history of public service, and, well, me. And, as usual, she doesn't hold back.

I have to ask you about your last tweet, "Impeaching is coming." What's that all about?

Well, here's why: I have dared to use the word "impeachment" to the dislike of even some of my colleagues who think that, "Oh my god, that's premature. It's not time to talk about that." But that's my goal. My goal is impeachment.

And after Comey admitted and revealed that the former President of the United States had not wiretapped Trump and that they did have an investigation going on to try to determine the interaction between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin or the Russians and [Vladimir] Putin, there was some movement. Because when I started talking about this, I know people had to wonder, "What is she talking about?" I was a little bit ahead of the game.

    The Kremlin clan!

I got them! The Kremlin clan. Basically what I said was, "Get ready for impeachment, because I'm ready for it!" I think that with continued investigation, connecting the dots, more information will come forward, as it did with Paul Manafort.

This country will not stand by a president who is proven to be in support of undermining our democracy. Whatever Trump's reasons are, this love of Putin is not gonna eventually play well. People may be a little bit slow in getting it, but his connection to Putin and the Kremlin and all of those allies of his that have connections with Ukraine and with Russia are going to be revealed, and that's gonna be his downfall and my goal is impeachment.

Tell me about the experience of going "viral."

What [your] pieces did was to describe me in ways that I think a lot of the millennials understand or can identify with. I'm like Aunt Maxine, that Aunt who comes to your house and looks around, and says something like this, "Well why haven't you done this? Why don't you take care of that?"

Right, like critiquing the mac and cheese

Right, "What'd you put in here?" I think that a lot of the young people identify with that. They've experienced that with relatives or with their aunts or what have you. ... The thinking is that older people cannot connect, that we can't talk [to young people]. But what I discovered is, it works if they think you're telling the truth! And if they think you have the courage to tell it like it is.

I'm having a good time talking to my grandchildren these days. I say to them: Tell me about shade, guys. C'mon, tell me about that! And then when I learn something and I see them, and they don't know what I've learned, I go, 'Stay woke.' [laughs]

    And then they're impressed?

Yeah, they're impressed. I'm enjoying it, I'm having a good time. But more than that, I'm really, really, really thrilled about the fact that millennials are listening, they're participating, and they wanna be involved, they understand what's going on, and they want us to make it right. I love that.

11 Women Who Did Groundbreaking Things That Men Got The Credit For

The man who invented Monopoly did not invent Monopoly. Charles Darrow made millions off the game that he sold to Parker Brothers ― 30 years after a woman named Elizabeth Magie created it.

It’s a tale as old as time: A man took credit for a woman’s idea.

We’ve seen this theme play out through history, with women’s work being erased from the labor movement, civil rights movements, and over and over again in science.

In the spirit of unearthing the “hidden figures” whose stories often go untold, we’re highlighting remarkable women who, despite their contributions, were sidelined by men.

    Happy Women’s History Month!

    • 1 1868: Margaret Knight invented the paper bag machine.

      USPTO

In 1868, while Margaret Knight was working at the Columbia Paper Bag Company, she began thinking about the possibility of a machine that could create flat-bottomed bags, one that would be much faster than the slow process of manually assembling them.

Within a few months, she created a working model and took it to a local shop to refine her machine. According to ASME, she moved to Boston to work with two machinists on it.

A man named Charles Anan came by her shop to examine Knight’s machine. When she went to file a patent, her application was rejected because one had already been given to Anan.

      Knight sued and won.

    • 2 1900s: Alice Guy was the first female film director and first female studio owner.

      Getty Images

Alice Guy made over 100 films in the early 1900s before marrying the manager of the production studio she worked for, a man named Herbert Blaché. She became the first female film studio owner opening Solax Studios in 1910.

According to Broadly, Guy was reversing gender roles on screen decades before the term “gender role” entered the lexicon. In one film, she imagined “a world in which women flourished in traditionally male roles while men writhed under oppression.”

Ironically, her name would eventually be erased and her husband would get the credit for her visionary work in film. He opened a studio after she did, convinced her to merge companies and to let his name be at the forefront.

According to Broadly: “In 1920, author Carolyn Lowrey published The First One Hundred Noted Men and Women of the Screen and dedicated a page to Herbert Blaché’s legacy, making no mention of Guy. Lowrey did so kindly mention a few of her films — she just falsely credited them to Blaché.”

    • 3 1903: Elizabeth Magie invented Monopoly.

      Washington Evening Star/Anspach Archives

According to the New York Times, secretary and stenographer Elizabeth Magie was outspoken politically and  “lived a highly unusual life” because she supported herself and didn’t get married until she was 44.

In 1903, she designed a game called “Landlord’s Game” to protest “big monopolists” like Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller.

More than three decades later, a man named Charles Darrow claimed a “version of it as his own,” and sold his game to Parker Brothers. Darrow made millions for the game we know today as Monopoly, while Magie’s creation earned her around $500.

    • 4 1930s: Lise Meitner discovered nuclear fission.

When Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, Austrian physicist Lise Meitner was acting director of the Institute for Chemistry. She eventually had to flee, but kept in touch with chemist Otto Hahn. Letters between the two of them show that they discovered nuclear fission together in the 1930s.

According to Dr. Chris Padgett, a history professor at American River College, Meitner was denied proper credit due because she was Jewish and a refugee. “Hahn, who stayed loyal to the Nazis, later won the Nobel Prize for this work, but refused to give Meitner credit,” he said.

The Berkeley Nuclear Research Center calls Meitner’s story “one of the most glaring examples of women’s scientific achievement overlooked by the Nobel committee.”

    • 5 1900s: Nettie M. Stevens discovered that a man’s sperm determines the sex of a child.

      Carnegie Institution of Washington/Wikipedia

In the first decade of the 1900s, scientist Nettie M. Stevens found that male sperm carried both X and Y chromosomes, while women only carried X chromosomes in their eggs, which lead her to the conclusion that a baby’s sex is determined by the male sperm.

Another scientist named Edmund Beecher Wilson independently came to the same conclusion at around the same time as Stevens, and submitted his paper to The Journal of Experimental Zoology 10 days before she did. Wilson did include a footnote that he was aware of Stevens’ findings.

According to a journal article by physicist and historian Stephen G. Brush, “The scientific and chronological relation between their contributions has rarely been specified, and the role of Stevens, who died in 1912 before she could attain a reputation comparable to that of Wilson, has sometimes been forgotten.”

    • 6 1950s: Dr. Chien-Shiung Wu discovered the law of parity.

      Getty Images

During World War II, Dr. Chien-Shiung Wu joined the Manhattan Project (the Army’s secret project to develop the atomic bomb) at Columbia University.

She continued her work at Columbia when the war ended. Along with two male colleagues, Dr. Tsung-Dao Lee and Dr. Chen Ning Yang, she “overthrew a law of symmetry in physics called the principle of conservation of parity,” according to the National Women’s History Museum. “Wu observed that there is a preferred direction of emission, which disproved what was then a widely accepted ‘law’ of nature.”

In 1957, the men received the Nobel Prize for their breakthrough. Wu was excluded from the award.

    • 7 1951: Rosalind Franklin played a big role in discovering the double-helix.

      Getty Images

While working as a research associate at the King’s College London in the biophysics unit in 1951, Rosalind Franklin and her student Raymond Gosling discovered that there were two forms of DNA, a dry “A” form and a wet “B” form.

According to Biography.com, “One of their X-ray diffraction pictures of the ‘B’ form of DNA, known as Photograph 51, became famous as critical evidence in identifying the structure of DNA.”

A colleague named Maurice Wilkins showed Photo 51 to competing scientists James Watson and Francis Crick — without Franklin’s permission. The duo used Franklin’s findings as a basis for their DNA model and won a Nobel Prize for it in 1962 — four years after she died.

    • 8 1952: Willie Mae Thornton was the original singer of “Hound Dog.”

      Getty Images

In 1952, singer and songwriter Willie Mae “Big Mama” Thornton recorded “Hound Dog” — a song Elvis Presley would eventually cover and make famous.

Nevertheless, she persisted, and achieved great success, being inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1984. Her song “Ball and Chain” (made famous by Janis Joplin) is on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame list of “500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.”

    • 9 1960s: Margaret Keane was actually the artist behind “The Big-Eyed Waifs.”

      Bettmann via Getty Images

The subject of Tim Burton’s “Big Eyes,” Margaret Keane was the painter who created “the big-eyed waifs” — pieces of art that became wildly popular in the 1960s. Her husband, Walter Keane, convinced her that they would make more money if he put his name on the paintings. Years later, she claimed in court that he threatened to kill her if she ever went public with their secret.

Eventually, Margaret divorced her husband and told a radio host the truth in a 1970 interview. She challenged Walter to a live painting contest to prove she was really the artist; he didn’t respond.

Then, in 1986, she took him to court. According to a People Magazine article at the time:

“Margaret, 58, and Walter, 70, hadn’t laid eyes on each other for nearly 20 years when they walked into federal court in Honolulu last month. They proceeded to have at it in an often heated 3½-week trial. Margaret acknowledged that she had gone along with Walter’s claims during their marriage, but only because he threatened to kill her and her daughter by a prior marriage if she revealed the truth. At the behest of her attorney, Margaret sat before the jurors and in 53 minutes painted a small boy’s face with those unmistakable outsize orbs. The painting, Exhibit 224 of the trial, may be her greatest artistic triumph.”

    • 10 1960s: Jocelyn Bell Burnell was the first person to observe radio pulsars.

      Getty Images

As a graduate student at the University of Cambridge, Jocelyn Bell Burnell helped Anthony Hewish and Martin Ryle construct a radio telescope to monitor quasars (a massive and extremely remote celestial object). It was Burnell’s job to analyze the data from it.

According to Biography.com: “After spending endless hours poring over the charts, she noticed some anomalies that didn’t fit with the patterns produced by quasars and called them to Hewish’s attention... Over the ensuing months, the team systematically eliminated all possible sources of the radio pulses — which they affectionately labeled Little Green Men, in reference to their potentially artificial origins — until they were able to deduce that they were made by neutron stars, fast-spinning collapsed stars too small to form black holes.”

In 1974, Hewish and Ryle received the Nobel Prize for Physics for the discovery.

    • 11 1963: Anna Arnold Hedgeman organized the March on Washington.

      Getty Images

Anna Arnold Hedgeman was the only woman on the organizing committee for the 1963 March on Washington where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech.

But according to Bowdoin College professor Jennifer Scanlon, who authored a biography about Hedgemen, the civil rights leader was “hidden, concealed, out of sight” by the men around her. Not only did Hedgemen galvanize many different groups of people to participate in the march, she organized transportation and made sure attendees had food and water.

Says Scanlon: “She also demanded that her male colleagues provide women a speaking voice during the march, but as in other things relating to gender, the men proved unrelenting in their sexism.”

A group of leaders who organized the March are often referred to as the “Big Six.” Of course, Hedgemen (or any other woman, for that matter) was not included in that group.

Hedgeman is shown above with her hands on the map of the mall, posing with A. Philip Randolph and Roy Wilkins, two of the men among the “Big Six” organizers of the March.

Rare Astrol logicaEvent: January 7th 2017 All Planets Are Moving Direct

Wave states: “Now, here in this moment, from our geo-centric view, our entire solar system, moving together, in the same direction, like a flowing cosmic river, all traveling towards this one direction.  From the position of the Sun or Earth’s perspective, All Planets in Direct Motion represents an organic, holistic, synchronous, harmonious group passage through the endless universe.

An APDM cycle is definitely one of hope for the future. It’s uniquely a time where the earth’s perspective becomes like the Sun. Where the vibration of the solar system can provide an extraordinary kind of cosmic assistance to any endeavor created to benefit, rather than to hinder, human life on earth. Where the whole planet can be energized by cosmic fuel rather than fossil fuels.

The auspicious timing of APDM 2017 is recommended by astrologers for successful mergers, marriages, large acquisitions, charity events, physical operations, inaugurations, launch a new business, birth a new president and anything else where one desires a positive result.

APDM is furthermore considered to be a time when the universe is in a state of natural order with all the planets are traveling forward.”

Starting January 7th and going through February 6th, 2017, all of the major planets will be moving direct (forward). Ancients saw this as a time of great fortune and a very opportune time

Stephanie “Wave” Forest is the first known astrologer first to publish articles, teach online courses and present slide show lectures on both the occurrence and potential of All Planets in Direct Motion (APDM).

This time period, which lasts almost 1 month, is started off by Mercury stationing direct and will end with Jupiter stationing retrograde on February 6th, 2017. So, what then is the meaning of Mercury starting off the APDM in January? Wave writes:

Let us borrow some phrases for a moment from the shamanic / astrology perspective where Mercury is symbolized as a quick, versatile planet that can easily traverse the Upper World, the Middle World and the Lower World, in just one instant. It doesn’t stay for long in any of the realms as it is mostly a guide, temporarily, an information seeker and a messenger between the realms.

How about the meaning of Jupiter ending the APDM in February? Wave states:

Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius and Mercury before it stations direct will be in the sign of Sag so right away we see a symbolic celestial correspondence between the two.  Both Mercury and Jupiter experience an enhanced energy of the other. Note also that Jupiter opposes Uranus through the entire APDM event which may spark a sudden totally unexpected (Uranus) and huge (Jupiter) altercation or possibly even a physical resonance shaking up the forces of the Earth.

Without doubt, this APDM 2017, and every single one of the next APDM events leading up to 2022, compels us to employ our best collective focus to access the promise for birthing a new world, a new nation and a new life.

The mystical intent of APDM is WORLD WIDE PEACE AND ABUNDANCE for ALL.

This is exactly how we keep the dream alive – our collective dream, for international peace and well being for everyone where we each have more than enough to share. We recite our APDM manifesto meditations daily, and we collectively work to assist the evolution of consciousness to move forward, keeping in mind that the timing of our intent is naturally backed up by all the planets moving in direct motion.

With that in mind, we have created an Event on Facebook that details the plan for a synchronized meditation each day throughout the nearly month-long APDM time period. The meditation will begin each day at 1pm Mountain Time and go for 30 minutes. If you are not able to make that time work, please do not worry and simply meditate or pray whenever you are able to make it.

Use this time to visualize your dreams, wishes and intentions as well as visualizing and intending peace and abundance for all. Because Facebook only allows events to take place for a maximum of 2 weeks at a time, you’ll notice that the event says it goes from January 7th-21st.
