Next time you prepare a hotlink, try this.
After you boil or grill your hotlink.
Cut it down the center in half.
Spread a good amount of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
in the center of course
Place hotlink with cream cheese in a bun……..and walla!!
1………..1 Head of Cabbage med to lrge
2………..4 pcs of bacon
3………..1 white onion med or lrge
4………..1 apple
COOKING – (medium heat)
Cut bacon in half and cook until brown
Chop onion and cook with bacon
When bacon and onion are caramelized then
Add chopped Cabbage
ADD NO WATER, PERIOD!
Cook in cover pot with lid. (cabbage will make it’s own juices)
Cook for about 10mins then add chopped apple, stir
real good, and cook for another 7 or 8 mins.
Serve, your cabbage will have a slight sweetness, and season from
the bacon and onion naturally. Enjoy
Black Pepper Almonds
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 teas salt
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) of butter
3/4 cup packed golden brown sugar
4 teas water
2 2/3 cups blanched whole almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line large baking sheet with heavy duty foil
Lightly butter foil
Mix pepper and salt in small bowl
Melt butter in large non stick skillet over medium low heat.
Add brown sugar and 4 teas water, stir until sugar dissolves.
Add almond, toss to coat. Sprinkle in 1/2 of the pepper mixture.
Cook over medium heat until syrup thickens and almonds are
well coated, about 3-5 minutes.
Transfer almonds to lined baking sheet. Using spatula and
working quickly, separate almonds. Sprinkle remaining pepper mixture
almonds and bake until deep golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Transfer sheet to rack, cool. Remove almonds from foil.
(May have to peel almonds from foil, that’s why heavy duty foil is a must,
otherwise you may have to watch for bits of foil still stuck to almonds.)
Store airtight at room temperature.

Getting prepare to shop for Thanksgiving dinner. We are enjoying a big family feast this year. Plenty of
food, laughter, children, stories, desserts, and tums (lol).
After carving your pumpkin what do you do with those seeds.
Here’s an idea, wash them real good, place in a grease pan put
them in the oven and bake them for 30-45mins. Add your own
flavors or seasoning to spice them up, and wallah!

Single parents all over America just screamed “What am I supposed to do for dinner now?!!” The massive recall of SpaghettiOs and Marie Callendar Cheesy Chicken dinners are being snatched off the shelves and thrown in the trash everywhere. There were eight different cases of Salmonella believed to be caused by the Callendar meals
and 15 cases of sickness from the SpaghettiOs.
According to the Associated Press and the Centers for Disease Control, the illnesses occurred throughout the country in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia. At least one of the victims was under a year old.
Now whoever fed that baby either one of these meals should be beaten within an inch of their life. This is the very reason you wouldn’t give a baby food like this ( and most adults either). The SpaghettiOs seem to not have been cooked at the right temperature which would cause Salmonella in the meatball sauce.
