“Mac & Cheese – Southern Style


This can be eaten as a meal with sourdough bread, and a glass of wine.
Quick to make, and ready to eat in 30mins.

INGREIDENTS:
1. 1- Box of Mac & Cheese
2. 1- Can of Pet Milk
3. 1- cup of Velvetta cheese
4. 1- cup of Ricotta cheese
5. 1- lrg jar of Pimentoes
6. 2- jars of Real Bacon Bits
7. 1- bunch of Green Onions (cut up)
8. 1/4- tsp of Hickory Smoke
9. 1/4 -cup of Sweet Butter (salted) Note: I don’t use the powder cheese in the box.

Cook Marcaroni as usually, until tender and firm. In a another bowl mix all other ingriedents
except the velvetta cheese. Note melt butter (microwave) same with velvetta cheese (microwave_
1. Put butter in pan with Macaroni after you drain off water(finished cooking)
2. While Macaroni is hot and steaming add ingriedents immediately, after stirring for a few minutes
add melted Velvetta Cheese, fold in it until mix well.
3. Place back on burner and cook on very low heat, until you are ready to serve, hopefully very
soon.

This is wonderful with cornbread – suggestion Jiffy mix is ideal.
Beverage suggestion – Wine, a nice Reisling

Quick – Hot Link & Cream Cheese

Cut hot link down the center half way to the bottom.
Place 4-5 in a boiler and boiled for 30 mins on med high.
Remove from boiler, place is a dish.
Take cream cheese and spread it down the center of
each link, (like mustard), place toothpick thru
center of link to hold it together.

Place link on a serving platter, with adjoining basket of buns.
And wallah, quick bite for on the go folks.

Note: For a sweet pick me up, add crush pineapple to cream cheese.

“Banana Pudding, Lennis Style”


This is a wonderful Sunday dinner dessert, or holiday dessert, or whatever occassion,
but I will tell you this, will make you slap yo Mama, it is that good!

INGREDIENTS –

1………….. 1 box of Vanilla Wafers
2……………1 lrge tub of Whip Cream Cheese
(can be subsitute with 2 lrge squares of Cream Cheese soften)
3……………1 large tub of Cool Whip
4……………1 can of Pet Milk
5……………1 can of Bordens Eagle Brand Milk
6……………1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
7……………5 Bananas cut medium thick
8……………1 box of Banana Instant Pudding mix
9……………1 bottle (mini) of Grand Marnier Liquor

PREPARATION –

1. In one bowl mix cookies and cut up banana, and set this to the side.
you will be back shortly to fold this into mixture.

2. Mixing bowl with beater, or use a hand beater.
3. Mix in this order – 1. Instant Pudding mix, 2. Pet Milk, 3. Cream Cheese, 4. Vanilla Extract
5. Cool Whip, 6. Eagle Brand Milk, 7. Grand Marnier Liquor
4. Mix all ingredients for about 2-3 minutes real good
5. Now go back to the bowl where you have the bananas and wafers waiting, and fold mixture
all together with cookes and bananas. Put in refrigerator and chill for 2hrs, then serve.

NOTE: If you would like to design your cookies in the bowl please do so, or arrange your bananas
a certain way go ahead. The above is just quick and easy no fuss. But maybe for a special occassion
you might want to spruce it up a bit.

Heineken Broccoli


Ingredients
1. 1 1/2 cup of Water
2. 1/2 cup of Butter
3. 2 cups of fresh Broccoli
4. 1 tsblspoon of Sea Salt
5. 1/2 cup of fresh Ginger (cut into pieces)
6. 1/2 bottle of Heineken Beer (green bottle)

Mix all together, in large pot. Turn burner on medium heat.
Cover with lid. Cook for 20 minutes, stir and serve.

Serves 3-4 people.

You will enjoy a tasty, crisp vegetable.

“YOGURT CORNBREAD”

1. 1 box of Jiffy Cornbread mix
2. 1 tsp of Baking Powder
3. 2 Eggs
4. 1 cup of Vanilla Yogurt
5. 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
6. 1 tblsp of Butter

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, and walla, of course do a taste test, lol.
Grease or spray pan, and pour ingredients in.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 mins or until a nice golden brown color.

Now head to the table and eat and enjoy.

Sides to add if you like – 1. 2 Bananas
2. 1/2 cup of Peaches
3. 1/2 cup of Pears
4. 1/2 cup or Orange Juice
5. 1/2 cup of Applesauce
(these items can be substituted instead of yogurt)
