Happy Birthday Taurus

April 20 to May 21

Although there won’t be any groups sex or whips and chains, this sign loves sex and has an insatiable appetite. With both the male and the female, we’re talking a straight fuck of the up and down variety.

The Taurus man prides himself on being a good lover because he sets out to master the art of lovemaking at an early age. There won’t be much kinkiness with this slow, methodical lover, but the end result is a satisfying encounter. What he lacks in creativity, he makes up tenfold in this ability to “hang in there” (no pun intended) when others fall short. Men are turned on by musty odors, kisses and light touches to the neck and throat area. They also adore large asses, preferring these to tits.

The Taurus woman is titillated by hot, wet kisses in/on the mouth and neck, and lot of sucking everywhere. Her usually flawless skin should be complimented as soon as she discards her clothes, and her body should be treated like a temple. She craves oral sex and is a master (mistress?) at giving head; although she like to satisfy her partner, don’t expect any unconventional sexual behavior until she gains your trust. Taurus women have a affinity for lesbianism (everybody loves a Taurus!) as well as for nymphomania because they need sex and they need it often.

Scorpio is the opposite sign of Taurus. In fact, these two can barely stay out of the bedroom long enough to eat – food, that is. Compatible signs include Cancer, Pisces, Capricorn, and Virgo.

NEW MOON – April 2010

The New Moon, carries multiple meanings you can expect it every 28 days. From earliest times, the moon has served as a consistent method of measuring time. The lunar calendar continues to indicate the timing of sacred rituals in many world religions. In this way, it is a common denominator in the on-going practice of many traditional arts and cultures a unifying symbol we can identify in this work to help sustain traditional cultural life by the peoples of California.

In many Native American cultures personification or deification of the sun and moon is usual and the two appear as characters in several Native American stories. Origin stories accounting for the moon are also prevalent. For example, in California Maidu cosmology, it was Creator who caused his sister the sun and his brother the moon first to rise.

Hindu, Jewish, Zoroastrian, Islamic, Theravadan Buddhist, Chinese, Pagan, Gregorian, Mayan, Sikh, Japanese, Tibetan, and Jainist practitioners among others, follow lunar calendars to celebrate holy days and festivals. Festivals of the new moon are observed among many peoples, and thankful prayers are said for the reappearance of the extinguished light in the sky. The full moon is seen as a climactic period of the month; the Jewish Passover is celebrated at the full moon, and the Christian Easter, occurs on the first Sunday following the full moon after the vernal equinox. The Chinese lunar calendar consists of twelve months, or moons, each with particular sacred meaning. For example, the First Moon, the beginning of spring, is the time when the household gods and the spirits of the ancestors return home and are received with ceremonious offerings of food and drink.

Many farmers consult their almanacs for the moon phases before planting each spring. Some believe that the light of the moon is the time for planting crops that grow above ground and the dark of the moon is best for root crop planting. The full moon nearest the autumnal equinox is called the harvest moon; the full moon following the harvest moon is called the hunter moon. Fishermen also gauge lunar cycles in which full and new moons are the most propitious times for abundant catches.

There is a plethora of examples about the moon relationship to the practice of traditional culture.
The new moon is the birthing cycle of the moon’s various phases. The new moon phase is an optimal time for planning and seeding your intentions. Seedlings need a period of gestation before they break through the soil and reach for the sunlight. This is also true for our ideas and our desires. The dark side of the moon, with its mysterious unseen forces, offers a nurturing environment where our intentions can establish roots before their miraculous manifestations begin to sprout and reach out to the stars.

Mercury Retrograde – 4/2/10 to 5/11/10

MERCURY RETROGRADE

April 17, 2010 to May 11, 2010

The purpose of Mercury retrograde is to review and revise our life and our connection with reality. The timing of this universe is geared toward the Sun as it moves through the zodiac. Mercury has an orbit that at times gets ahead of the Sun allowing us to look into the future toward new and innovative ideas. However, we cannot continue in that vein until we come back to the present designated by the Sun and put our new ideas into manifestation. During the time that Mercury jumps ahead, we ultimately have to bring the ideas back into the present to test and evaluate to see how they fit into our life. As Mercury retrogrades back into the present, the connection with the Sun happens as we test drive our ideas and re-align with reality and the natural timing of the universe.

The Mercury retrogrades that occur in 2010 provide the opportunities for us to make adjustments in the practical aspects of our life from the information brought to us through the Mercury retrograde in earthy signs; Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo (occurring in that order). Decisions about our goals and aspirations will be the focus during the December d2010 retrograde, assisting the transitions of career through the changing goals that will be evolving at that time.. Because we are making decisions to bring forward the visionary awareness into our new journey, new endeavors, new goals, the events during the Mercury retrograde time frames help us to veer away from the past and take bold steps into our new future. These adjustments will be very necessary as they allow us to make major changes, emphasizing our bold and innovative choices.

Reminder – don’t buy any big ticket items, house, car, electronics, start a new relationship,

communications can fail. Try to have most business concerns done by 4/16/10.
