Uhmnnnnnn I like that………

Astrology Forecast for February 2011

SIGN-BY-SIGN

ARIES ~ Anchors aweigh. February brings a point departure for Aries. A major phase in your life is fast ending. You will eventually cut all mental and emotional ties to this time as you go in search of broader horizons and greener pastures. Your excitement is contagious and your commitment inspires confidence. You will find the transition easier than you might have feared, too. However, you might want to take the early stages of this new enterprise in low gear. It would be a little too easy to get ahead of yourself.

TAURUS ~ Strong currents. Your social center of gravity is shifting. The details are fuzzy, but it’s clear that the financial and professional currents are carrying you in a particular direction, irresistibly so. Many of those you hoped would come along aren’t quite on board; some never will be. Those who do come along will need constant coaxing and coaching. It’s not worth holding on too tightly or forcing anyone’s hand. Some need to go their own way. In any case, new faces will appear and new alliances will begin to form.

GEMINI ~ Point man. Your superiors are quietly designing policies and shuffling personnel to best cope with unfolding events. Their plans will probably work out, but they won’t necessarily go down easy. You are surprisingly well-suited and well-positioned to facilitate these changes. You might think you are performing a simple diplomatic chore, a bit of routine people-handling. In reality, you’re helping lay the foundation for a lasting and beneficial new system. Without your people-handling skills, and your charisma, which is very strong right now, this transition would be much harder for all concerned.

CANCER ~ Keep a sharp eye out. There certainly is a lot of important stuff going on, but it’s mostly happening to other people, and out of your control. The outcome will affect you, but you should be able to sidestep any adverse consequences. Watch for anything that effects your interests – like income, job security or professional relationships – and react accordingly. Key players in your life have a surprising degree of influence in the situation. They also stand to profit from what’s happening. They can help protect your interests, too.

LEO ~ Relationships in transition. Behind-the-scenes power plays are introducing a bunch of wild cards and unknowns at work. Changes are coming and you probably won’t like all of them. However, new and potentially profitable alliances are coming into being; many are related to new opportunities. It’s still early days, true. But the opportunities will keep on coming and some will definitely pan out. The most immediate challenge will be keeping your head on straight and your heart strong. Job changes could be very confusing and shifting loyalties could cause heartache.

VIRGO ~ Power and influence. It’s nice to be on good terms with high-powered decision makers. It’s also good to have leverage over developing situations at work. However, you are bound to find yourself in awkward spots as you see the effects of your influence on others. Time spent learning how to help others cope with changes you helped plan would be time well spent. You’ll have plenty of need for such skills. The years ahead will see non-stop change and you will frequently have an influential say in managing that change.

LIBRA ~ Social safety nets. Tensions in the home and family area are peaking; work issues are not helping. It’s worrisome. Events could force your hand. But relations with close friends and youngsters are especially strong and creative areas are vibrant. You should easily find good ways around any limitations you’re feeling in financial areas, personal energy levels, or health issues. These lucky breaks will lead to lasting stability and security. Recent changes have been kind of rough, but you will soon find yourself in greater harmony with the forces of change.

SCORPIO ~ Pushing the envelope. A complicated month for Scorpio. What others find easy and reassuring could seem inconvenient and unsettling to you. And vice versa. Also, when others prefer practical, grounded solutions, you are drawn to unconventional, idealistic and, well, otherworldly approaches. You might feel outnumbered. Not to worry. Scorpio will have a surprising degree of influence over long term trends. Socially, you could find yourself distanced from some old associates and more strongly drawn to new people. You will soon be able to draw greater comfort from spiritual sources.

SAGITTARIUS ~ Choose carefully. Many powerful forces – spiritual, psychological, economic, political – are keeping relationships fluid, now. People are open to new friendships, new business partners, new lovers. Much of this is very positive and will lead to solid, productive, profitable new alliances. But Sagittarius must be careful; not simply because a lot of the rhetoric and a lot of the opportunities won’t pan out. Sagittarian concerns go beyond establishing a successful business arrangement. You need to get the spirituality, the psychology – all the unwritten parts of new relationships – just right.

CAPRICORN ~ Loyalty tests. The pressures of necessity don’t mesh neatly with new opportunities. You’ll have to adjustment your expectations, and your strategy. Some personal loyalties are pulling you in still other directions. You can’t reconcile all these conflicting pressures completely. These pressures will linger indefinitely; you can’t wait then out. Its probably time to expand personal and professional support networks in response to emerging realities. The forces of change will also be affecting your home. However, even amidst all this change, your home will remain a source of comfort and strength.

AQUARIUS ~ Threshold. You appear stable, poised and self-possessed; inwardly, you are anything but. You are brooding about issues vital to your well-being. There don’t seem to be any obvious solution, but there are will be possibilities. Your influence and your range of involvements will soon expand very significantly. Let these vital personal concerns direct your path as this varied and eventful future unfolds. Without this focus on core concerns, the future could all too easily become a long series of distractions that leads you further away from the solutions you want.

PISCES ~ Step by step. First, the bad news: pressure related to long-term debt, insurance costs and retirement savings is forcing a big re-think of long-term goals. The good news: worry and uncertainty over your prospects will fade. You will feel more secure and confident. Motivation will surge. You’ll have the resolve you need to tackle the future. You are also in an expansive phase. However, the future is turning into a confusing place; with all the luck and motivation in the world, you would still need to plan, and act, very carefully.

The Best Pet for Your Sign

Aries:
A dog that needs exercise and lots of attention keeps Aries busy. An eager to please German Shepherd allows you to assume the role of friend, or “Alpha Dog Pack Leader.” Intelligent Collies think fast on their feet, something you definitely appreciate. You will admire the Chihuahua, who thinks he is a guard dog and won’t be insulted by man or beast. The Pointer is a delightful companion, if difficult to train. For Aries, “Sit! Stay!” means that. Therefore, no matter what type of dog you choose, a pet-owner training class is wise – even if you’ve adopted an older dog. If you have the room, of course Aries should have a ram or at least a sheep!

Taurus:
If you are one of the alleged less-than-active Taureans, you may enjoy a Basset Hound or Dachshund. The Basset Hound is slow moving and persistent, while the Dachshund is inactive and undemanding. The latter becomes quite possessive of an owner. A Schnauzer is reliable and adaptable to your time schedule, something hardworking Bulls appreciate. A fascinating, slow-as-molasses turtle may also delight you. If you have the space, the Taurus could love boarding a cow or steer, or even a buffalo! Cats purr when happy and content, and sometimes Taurus does too. That makes a good match.

Gemini:
Did you know that the Beagle has been described as “philosophical”? A Gemini probably ascribed the definition. Beagles are extra friendly, accommodating and flexible – perfect for the agile Twin. The alert and cheerful Retriever loves to please. Throw something their way and they always come back. Be prepared to toss again and again. The Poodle is intelligent and entertaining, and will create a mutual admiration society with a Gemini. A chatty Pomeranian is alleged to interrupt conversations. Rottweilers make nervous Gemini owners even more so. Parrots and cockatiels learn to talk. Cats caterwaul, or cry out – a form of interaction Gemini might learn to appreciate. You won’t be alone with a feline friend; they acknowledge you day or night.

Cancer:
The Border Collie spends its life anticipating and hoping for the type of attention a Cancerian Moonchild has to give: Collies will herd, love and protect you. The Retriever is a good family dog. A Bulldog also adores children, in case you have little ones around. They could care less about adults and other dogs, however. Longhaired breeds need lots of brushing, making them prime candidates for the Crab’s nurturing skills. They’ll give affection and love in return. Call a cat for dinner and she comes in her own good time, though few snub a Cancer. Birds and fish resonate to your tender loving care.

Leo:
A gorgeous, longhaired Afghan Hound looks good on the leash, just as a stunning companion does on regal Leo’s arm. An English Setter is aristocratic and friendly. Both breeds thrive in wide-open luxury spaces, just like Leo. Neither dog listens unless you are firm with royal command. The cheerful Irish Setter is a real party-type dog that everyone loves and wants to get to know. He or she will be the source of many introductions. One imagines the Leo with a couple of pet chinchillas, minks or beautiful, exotic parrots. A cat? The match has to be just right or it’s cat fighting between owner and pet, when both think they are each other’s ruler.

Virgo:
Dogs in the hound family enjoy luxury and comfort, and are happy to lie around and simply look pretty. The Basset Hound especially benefits from the attention to diet that a Virgo caregiver provides. It keeps them slim and trim. An adaptable, alert, quick Schnauzer is neither noisy nor nosy and won’t tend to intrude in your affairs. A Rottweiler isn’t for the nervous owner. Big work dogs and sporting dogs require attention and activity. The lively Terrier could be a good match, although they are not so easy to train. Mutts are iffy and a discriminating Virgo won’t know what they are getting. Birds can be messy and can’t be trained to “neaten up.” On the other hand, cats like life to hum along in efficient rhythm, just as you do.

Libra:
A Spaniel is an energetic and happy dog who loves what you love – a harmonious environment. Spaniels are easily trained, which is important for harmonious Libra. An Akita can be too bossy, and you could end up being their pet. Poodles are classy, entertaining, and intelligent. After a day at the doggy salon, a sweet-smelling Poodle – decked out in a perky bow – attracts attention and new friendships. Canaries provide music to a home. A cockatiel is always ready to “talk” to communicative Libra. A cat naps a lot, thus may not be around when you want them to be social. And, they aren’t big on the open paw policy, in case you are hoping for the message, “Guests are always welcome.”

Scorpio:
The Collie doesn’t tolerate fools, but then neither do you. If your pet doesn’t like your friends or new significant other, he or she is a great warning system that says you should be leery, too. A Scorpio might love to be seen holding the other end of the leash of something as unusual as a Pharaoh Hound. This mysterious looking dog is considered the guardian of world secrets from the time of the ancient Egyptian temples. An Airedale can be stubborn, and you should carefully consider whether you want to butt heads with someone whose mind is as fixed as your own. You can’t help but admire each other’s courage and genuine style, however. A Scorpio resonates with a finicky cat that loves to proclaim, “Mine!”

Sagittarius:
Are you a lucky Sagittarian with a horse? Then you, also need a dog like a Setter or Pointer to run alongside both of you. The intelligent, all-purpose German Shepherd is a good friend to have around when you want to stay home or are up for adventure. Many members of the Toy dog family can be scooped up and put in a pocket, ever ready to explore. You might find a Chihuahua is too nervous as a traveling companion. Terriers act first and think later. Decide first whether you want to be two of a kind. Cats like life to operate like a well-oiled machine. They hate change! Are you willing to be a creature of habit, dear Archer?

Capricorn:
Sea Goats resonate with working dogs like Border Collies, German Shepherds, or Huskies. Convince a Boxer or a Doberman that you know best and that you are the boss and they are the pet – which you shouldn’t find too difficult – and they’ll happily guard you, your home and your family. A Schnauzer likes rules and follows them. Toy dogs get upset and snappy, making it difficult to concentrate. A cat sits on your computer, hits the wrong key and erases three hours of work efforts. A mutt doesn’t come with Capricorn-coveted papers or prestigious breed qualifications like “The Soft-Coated Wheaton Terrier, son of Alhambra Nottingdale IV and Queen Pookiboo Xi.”

Aquarius:
Water Bearers make ideal adoptive parents for the mutts of the world. Ears, bodies, legs and feet that don’t seem to match the dog they belong to are fascinating to you. A Greyhound retired from racing is a rescue mission: They love to run; you have to be fit – and if you aren’t, they keep you that way. A Pekinese has a huge, free and independent personality you have to admire. Just know that they are rather dignified and may disapprove of outfits you consider stunning, but they find distasteful. If you have room for boarding, Aquarians are attracted to exotic animals like camels, elephants and emus because no one else has them!

Pisces:
The most obvious pet choice for a Pisces is, of course, a fish. Koi can be friendly creatures, though not huggable. The bonus for a Pisces is the pond, complete with fountain that relaxes your nerves. Cats nap a great deal, but then so do many Pisces. Cats are good little lap nesters and provide something to compassionately pet. Purring is reassuring icing on the cake. Non-sporting dogs make great companions: They’ll love activity when you want to do something, and yet it’s okay if you just want to laze around. The Chow Chow and Shar-Pei easily win your heart. Dogs with big, hidden-by-hair eyes that you can’t peer into, like a Lhasa Apso or a Shih Tzu, might make you uncomfortable.

October Horoscope – Capricorn, The Goat

You are now awake! Keep reading, because it’s true “a mind is a terrible thing to waste”. This year has been a big learning curve for you dear Capricorn. Learning is fundamental, but for you it was your chosen spiritual path of enlightenment. Judge not unless you be judge. Your mind is bright and spiritual access.
Material things have always been important to you, and now you see, there is no needing or wanting, just is. Everything does happen for a reason, to reveal itself when it is time. There are decisions that have to made by the end of the year. Know these decisions paint a portrait of who you are, and what you want in this life. I would say like Nike “just do it”, and it will happen faster than you realize. You like your sign the goat is always climbing new areas of life, which is good, just remember to stop and smell the roses. Sometimes dear Capricorn you become to driven, and your body surely let’s you know that OK! You are learning to think with your mind, not your body or ego, and thru this you are becoming who you really are.
Enjoy the holidays, and that new love just around the corner, or is in your life at the present time.
Life sometimes is like a roller coaster you ride that puppy, sideways, up and down, curves, until it comes to the end, what a ride I say, glorious and magnificent ride.

Lunar Eclipse – 6/26/10 “Very Important”

This month begins a new eclipse season. We will have two eclipses very soon, a lunar eclipse on June 26 in Capricorn (full moon) and the other will arrive as a solar eclipse in Cancer (new moon) on July 11.
If you haven’t read my June 2010 forecast on Astrology Zone that I have prepared for you, please do, for the first eclipse that is arriving this month might turn out to be quite intense for the world. If you are within a certain mathematical range, you might feel the eclipse in a more personal way.

Eclipses aren’t like any other phenomenon in astrology. They strike quickly and in unusual ways. Often the catalyst to change is triggered by an outside event that has nothing to do with you or anything you did, but that will come in and change certain elements in your life anyway. I feel it’s the universe’s way to keep us on our toes and flexible. Also, eclipses look for broken or outdated situations to sweep away to help you make room for the new. Some eclipses are shocking or jarring and others are harbingers of good news.

The coming June 26 eclipse will have an especially strong impact because Uranus will be in sharp angle to the full moon eclipse and Sun. Also, Saturn will oppose Uranus and Jupiter, while Pluto will conjoin the full moon and argue with the other planets. All will square off at 90 degrees to each other, or stare at one another at 180 degrees, forming a cross pattern in the sky – this is considered stressful.

We have not seen such an extreme eclipse in years. Actually, astrologers have gone back 500 years and we have not been able to find anything like the one that is due June 26. Let me reiterate that not everyone will feel the events of June 26, and that is an important point. Please check my June report to see if you might feel some changes. I always feel it is best to know something may come up, so that I can have a flexible schedule to respond to any event that I might have to decide upon.

Events that come up as a result of an eclipse have more weight than events brought on by a normal new or full moon. In fact, an eclipse is like a turbo-new or full moon – it packs much more energy and punch and feels like three rolled into one. An eclipse may even bring on an event that seems “fated.” Eclipses always bring unexpected changes of direction.
The eclipse does not have to fall in your sign to affect you, but it would have to be within a ten-degree range of a natal planet in your chart. In this case you would need a natal planet within ten degrees of 5 degrees of a cardinal sign: Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn. I can’t see your chart from here, so it’s just wise to wait and see. With Uranus so prominent, what comes up will be completely unexpected anyway, coming out of left field, but I can narrow things down for you.

Eclipses in the same family of signs tend to be connected like pearls on a necklace. It is as though the universe realizes that we can’t handle too much big news all at once, so it is divided up into pieces. We are given news of something that is changing or needs to be changed, but further information does not come until the next eclipse, at which time we are ready to move forward.
For this reason, think back to what occurred on December 31 and just after January 15 for clues, for those were the last times we had eclipses in this family of signs.
Eclipses shine the bright light of truth on the part of your life that is touched by the eclipse. Most of the time, eclipses act as brilliant illuminators, revealing a condition that you were unaware existed. They can also act as catalysts to a major life decision. Also under an eclipse, you may finally understand the true character of a person near you.
With all eclipses, something ends and something else begins. During an eclipse period, you may feel like you are walking across a bridge to a new place of the mind and heart, but with no ability to turn back to where you started. Said another way, the door of part of your old life will slam shut and lock tightly behind you as you walk over the threshold. You won’t be able to go back to your old life after the eclipse, but upon reflection, you might not want to anymore. You have grown, and now you are ready to face the future with all the surprises and gifts the universe will have ready for you. Armed with the necessary facts, you will now understand a mystery that was never clear to you before. The universe wants us to embrace all that is new, not go back to the old tried and true.

In about six months, we will have another set of eclipses coming on December 21, a total lunar eclipse (full moon) in late degrees of Gemini and on January 4, 2011, a solar eclipse (new moon) in Capricorn. The December 21 eclipse will begin to usher in a new series of eclipses in Gemini-Sagittarius, just as the old series of Cancer-Capricorn, begun last summer on June 7, 2009, begins to wind down and officially end on July 1, 2011. Often when a new family of signs starts up, an old family of signs ends.

Thank you Susan for the update.
