After reported rumors of lackluster songs and even cancelling her new album altogether, Beyonce is going ahead with a scheduled June 28th release date for her new CD entitled “4.” It’s her lucky number after her birthdate, husband Jay-Z’s birth date, their wedding date and this being her fourth solo album. The album’s first single, Run The World (Girls), premiered this week on American Idol. Beyonce will also be honored with the Millennium Award for her career achievements at The 2011 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday on ABC.
Snoop Dogg will guest on a Rob Patterson-produced track for Charlie Sheen’s My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Death is Not an Option tour, Billboard has confirmed.
A release date for the single has not yet been revealed, although the former “Two and a Half Men” star’s one-man show is slated to kick off Saturday (April 2) in Detroit.
The news arrives after Sheen posted a picture of himself, Snoop Dogg and Patterson on his Twitter last week along with the caption, “Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDogg @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheenius within! http://twitpic.com/4d9cw1.”
Snoop Dogg is fresh off releasing his latest album, “The Doggumentary,” yesterday, and plans on shooting a comedy with fellow stoner rapper Wiz Khalifa this May.
Meanwhile, Sheen’s Torpedo tour will visit 20 North American cities before wrapping up May 3 in Seattle.
Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa had planned to audition for “American Idol” in Los Angeles in front of a judging panel featuring his former wife – but, as expected, it ain’t gonna happen.
A source close to Noa told RadarOnline.com that he was banned from trying out with all the other hopefuls at The Forum in Inglewood.
“Jennifer got Fox to make sure that the screeners at the auditions would not let Ojani anywhere near the auditions,” the source said. “Fox made it clear that he was not welcome and that he could be arrested if he showed up so he backed-out at the last minute.
“It was a shame because all he wanted to do was to showcase his voice and show people that he can really sing too.”
The source also claimed, “whenever Ojani tries to do something Jennifer just tries to block it any way that she can – nobody really knows what she’s so paranoid about.”
Lopez was married to the former Cuban waiter from 1997 to 1998. They have been embroiled in bitter court battles ever since. Most recently, the singer-actress has been trying to block him from releasing a film about his life because it reportedly contains raunchy footage of them together.
On December 1, 2009, Judge James Chalfant granted a temporary injunction against Noa and his agent, Ed Meyer, barring them from distributing the footage in any form.
Both sides are due at the California Court Of Appeal Second District on March 22, 2011, where he will continue to fight to be allowed to make the film about his life.

The Queen Of Soul Aretha Franklin says she will never retire. Franklin, 69, just released her 28th studio album Aretha: A Woman Falling Out Of Love. Franklin says she would like to see either Fantasia or Jennifer Hudson play her on the big screen when a movie is made on her life. She also says a summer tour is in the works, and she will be in the area at the Mann Center For The Performing Arts this summer. Al Green and R Kelly are also scheduled to do shows this summer at The Mann.
