Well, well, well. Like the old saying goes, “what’s done in the dark …
According to a tell-all book to be released this month, staunch Republican and former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin reportedly had a one-night stand with former Heat/Hornet/Laker brother Glenn Rice.
The book, entitled “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin” by Joe McGinniss, said that Palin and Rice met when she was a sports reporter for Anchorage TV station KTVV and Rice was a 6 ft. 8 forward at the University of Michigan.
The tryst occurred in 1987, and Tea Party Palin was described by a friend as the aggressor, with a pal reporting “she hauled his a** down.”
The book also reports that Palin was once seen snorting cocaine off the top of a 55-gallon drum while snowmobiling with friends as well as smoking pot with a professor.
The 230-page book is due in stores next week.
Boxing Legend Oscar De La Hoya is coming clean. After leaving rehab, he is telling all. De la Hoya has admitted the photos that came out of him dressed in women’s lingerie were him. The photos came out in 2007, and were released by an angry ex-girlfriend. De La Hoya says he took the photos under the influence of alcohol and cocaine. De La Hoya has been sober for the past three months.
Whitney Houston has checked back into rehab. Houston has a problem, and she realizes she needs help. There have been rumors for a while that Houston has been indulging in drugs and alcohol, but now it has been confirmed. Houston is trying to get herself ready for the movie Getting To Happy, which is the sequel to her box office hit Waiting To Exhale. The original movie came out in 1995, and all the original stars are coming back for the sequel (Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine and Lela Rochon). Forest Whitaker will be directing, and Terry McMillan just finished the movie script. Will Houston be ready to step in front of the cameras? Can she beat her addictions? The past year has been rough for her. Her daughter with Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kris, has been a nightmare with wild partying and drugs. Her ex, Bobby Brown, has remarried and has started a new family. Houston’s last tour overseas was rocky, so she needs this movie. Her rehab is on an outpatient basis. When she is in public, she has a sponsor who monitors her moves.
The drug dealer motto is, “Don’t get high off your own supply.” Which doesn’t mean buy your own! It means don’t do drugs! There’s a serious conflict of interest! Now here we are in the case of another type of hypocrisy. A top attorney in California, the DISTRICT ATTORNEY, gets busted for cocaine possession? How hypocritical can you be?
The office Deputy District Attorney David Shubert holds is a position of excellence, pride and honesty that should stand for something other than bustin’ Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton for their drug possession and making a name for yourself. Now that his credibility is shot and he’s been locked out of his office, I bet he used their drugs or wish he had them? The stuff that was confiscated from Mars and Hilton probably never made into evidence–except enough to bust them.
Shubert has people in low places that were giving him a hook up at a crack den in Vegas when they were spotted, chased, and apprehended. Now, he’s losing his job and preparing to be in the cell next to Paris and ‘nem. Oops! Paris isn’t even in the pen, she’s out on good behavior. I guess it’s lonely at the bottom too. When sheriff’s deputies allegedly discovered a bags of marijuana and cocaine between a man’s buttocks, they say he gave a quick explanation.
Manatee County deputies say Raymond Stanley Roberts told them “The white stuff is not mine, but the weed is.”
Deputies stopped the 25-year-old Wednesday in Bradenton for speeding. Officers say they smelled marijuana and searched him. That’s when they allegedly found a bag of marijuana between Roberts’ buttocks.
Officers then discovered another bag in there; the report says it contained 27 pieces of rock cocaine.
The Bradenton Herald reports Roberts was arrested for drug possession and has bonded out of jail.
The person who answered Friday at a phone number listed for Roberts said it wasn’t his.

Report Claims Whitney Snorted Coke Last Month. You knew this was coming. In Touch magazine is the first to allege that a drug relapse is the real reason behind Whitney Houston’s tour postponements in Europe this week. The publication is quoting a source who claims he witnessed the songstress sneaking a snort of cocaine last month at a Los Angeles hotel, just weeks before the start of her European tour that has since been postponed. Below is the In Touch press release: In Touch can reveal shocking claims from onlookers at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in LA who were surprised on March 10 when the singer walked into the bar, appearing disheveled and out of it. According to eyewitness Marlon David, Whitney was with her ex-husband, Bobby Brown, and she seemed oblivious to who might be watching when she began screaming, “I want a f***in’ drink!” followed by expletives. While Whitney’s rep vehemently denies that she’s using drugs, David, who was sitting just a table away from Whitney and Bobby, tells In Touch exclusively: “I saw her pull a plastic bag out, put a folded bill to her nose and discreetly snort a line from it of what to me certainly looked like cocaine. She’s extremely thin and looks like a disaster. She’s a hot mess.” As previously reported, Houston has cancelled several dates on her European tour due to a respiratory infection.
Whitney’s Response to Drug Use Report: ‘Ridiculous’. Singer Whitney Houston was released from a Paris hospital on Wednesday after suffering a respiratory infection and she called media reports that she was using drugs again “ridiculous.” After being hospitalized in Paris on Tuesday under doctor’s orders, Houston told People magazine she is looking forward to returning to the stage after postponing several dates on the European leg of her concert tour. “I’m feeling great,” she said. “I’m just ready to move on and continue my world tour.” Houston, 46, is expected to retake the stage on April 13 in Birmingham, England, and continue touring through June. “My health is terrific, but this is a time when I get a lot of allergies,” she told People.
Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music’s queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.
Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown.

At her peak, Houston the golden girl of the music industry. From the middle 1980s to the late 1990s, she was one of the world’s best-selling artists. She wowed audiences with effortless, powerful, and peerless vocals that were rooted in the black church but made palatable to the masses with a pop sheen.
Her success carried her beyond music to movies, where she starred in hits like “The Bodyguard” and “Waiting to Exhale.”
She had the perfect voice, and the perfect image: a gorgeous singer who had sex appeal but was never overtly sexual, who maintained perfect poise.
She influenced a generation of younger singers, from Christina Aguilera to Mariah Carey, who when she first came out sounded so much like Houston that many thought it was Houston.
But by the end of her career, Houston became a stunning cautionary tale of the toll of drug use. Her album sales plummeted and the hits stopped coming; her once serene image was shattered by a wild demeanor and bizarre public appearances. She confessed to abusing cocaine, marijuana and pills, and her once pristine voice became raspy and hoarse, unable to hit the high notes as she had during her prime.
“The biggest devil is me. I’m either my best friend or my worst enemy,” Houston told ABC’s Diane Sawyer in an infamous 2002 interview with then-husband Brown by her side.
It was a tragic fall for a superstar who was one of the top-selling artists in pop music history, with more than 55 million records sold in the United States alone.
She seemed to be born into greatness. She was the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston, the cousin of 1960s pop diva Dionne Warwick and the goddaughter of Aretha Franklin.
Houston first started singing in the church as a child. In her teens, she sang backup for Chaka Khan, Jermaine Jackson and others, in addition to modeling. It was around that time when music mogul Clive Davis first heard Houston perform.
“The time that I first saw her singing in her mother’s act in a club … it was such a stunning impact,” Davis told “Good Morning America.”
“To hear this young girl breathe such fire into this song. I mean, it really sent the proverbial tingles up my spine,” he added.
Before long, the rest of the country would feel it, too. Houston made her album debut in 1985 with “Whitney Houston,” which sold millions and spawned hit after hit. “Saving All My Love for You” brought her her first Grammy, for best female pop vocal. “How Will I Know,” “You Give Good Love” and “The Greatest Love of All” also became hit singles.
Another multiplatinum album, “Whitney,” came out in 1987 and included hits like “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
The New York Times wrote that Houston “possesses one of her generation’s most powerful gospel-trained voices, but she eschews many of the churchier mannerisms of her forerunners. She uses ornamental gospel phrasing only sparingly, and instead of projecting an earthy, tearful vulnerability, communicates cool self-assurance and strength, building pop ballads to majestic, sustained peaks of intensity.
