The final autopsy findings have been released regarding the death of Whitney Houston. The coroner’s report, which was released this week, confirmed drowning as the cause of death with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors. The singer was actually found face down in her hotel bathtub by her personal assistant. Houston was even scalded by the hot water before the assistant and Houston’s bodyguard could remove her body from the tub. Toxicology tests already found cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs in Houston’s system. The final report also noted there were drugs found in the hotel bathroom, including a mirror with traces of a white-powdery substance and a spoon with a white-crystal type substance in an ashtray full of cigarette butts. Prescription drugs were also in the bathroom. The coroner’s report concluded that Houston’s death was accidental.

Dr. Conrad Murray: this week the girlfriends took the stand and more audio of Jackson speaking to the doctor. Did Michael Jackson have to die? Dr. Murray is on trial for involuntary manslaughter for the death of The King Of Pop. More audio of Michael Jackson was played to the jury. He was talking to Dr. Murray in a slurred, deep voice telling him I Hurt You Know I Hurt. Meanwhile, was Dr. Murray on the phone talking and texting while Jacksonlay dying? Four different women, including a babymomma, testified texting or talking to Dr. Murray the day Jacksondied. None of the women were Dr. Murray’s wife. Yes, he was married at the time! The babymomma had jurors almost laughing when she testified about meeting Jackson on a separate occasion and showing him her baby bump. Another girlfriend, a waitress, testified that on the day Jacksondied she realized something was wrong when Dr. Murray didn’t answer her when they were talking. He forgot to hang up the phone. Dr. Murray’s next call was to Jackson’s personal assistant. Meanwhile, tabloid photos show Dr. Murray at the beach and getting a pedicure while this case is being tried. Hmmmmmmm! Will Dr. Murrayget convicted of negligence? Prosecutors say Dr. Murray gave Michael Jackson a fatal dose of propofol, but Murray’s lawyers maintain Jackson administered the fatal additional dose to himself.
Results have come back about the death of Amy Winehouse, who died of unknown causes on July 23. According to a toxicology report, the singer did not have any illegal drugs in her system at the time of death. The report did however reveal that there was alcohol in her system. But the cause of death is still a mystery. In the meantime, while the world mourns the singer’s premature death, a tribute and surprise film debut of a Winehouse/Tony Bennett duet is expected to be revealed on the MTV Video Music Awards, which will air Sunday, Aug. 28 on what would have been the singer’s 28th birthday. “It was a thrill to record with Amy Winehouse and when you listen to the recording of ‘Body and Soul, it is a testament to her artistic genius and her brilliance as one of the most honest musicians I have ever known,” Bennett said in the statement.
The Chair of the Sumter South Carolina Tea Party posted — and then quickly pulled — a post on her Facebook page earlier this month that joked about throwing the Obamas out of a helicopter, reports TalkingPointsMemo.com. Shery Lanford Smith posted the joke on her Facebook page on August 11th. The page has since gone “private.” In the joke, the Obamas are on a helicopter talking about how they could make people happy if they threw money out the window. The pilot says: “I could throw both of them out of the window and make 256 million people very happy!” Smith added: “If you’re one of 256 million, PASS IT ON.” Smith reportedly pulled the joke after the Sumter Item contacted her about it.
“It’s just a joke,” she told the Item. “I had no idea it would be an issue.” The Sumter SC Tea Party’s page is now also defunct
SIDEBAR: Bytch please you knew exactly what you where doing and who you wanted to see it. Joke or funny my azz that is straight up bullshyt. How would she feel or the Tea Party members started to come up missing, would you find that as Facebook humour. Oops forgot your educated folks that know what your doing at all times!
Nick Ashford of Ashford & Simpson Dies from Throat Cancer at 70. *(Via AP/Yahoo News) – Nick Ashford, one-half of the legendary Motown songwriting duo Ashford & Simpson that penned elegant, soulful classics for the likes of Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye and funk hits for Chaka Khan and others, died Monday at age 70, his former publicist said. Ashford, who along with wife Valerie Simpson wrote some of Motown’s biggest hits, died in a New York City hospital, said Liz Rosenberg, who also was Ashford’s longtime friend. He had been suffering from throat cancer and had undergone radiation treatment, she said. Though they had some of their greatest success at Motown with classics like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and “Reach Out And Touch Somebody’s Hand” by Ross and “You’re All I Need To Get By” by Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Ashford & Simpson also created classics for others, like the anthem “I’m Every Woman” by Khan (and later remade by Whitney Houston). Ashford and Simpson’s relationship stretched more than four decades. They met in 1964 in a New York City church; Ashford, a South Carolina native, had come to the city to pursue a dance career. Simpson was a music student, and after connecting with her, they decided to start to write songs together.
Another Jackson family feud is brewing. In one corner there is mom Katherine, sister LaToya and brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie. They recently announced plans for a tribute concert for Michael Jackson this fall in Wales. In the other corner, there is Janet, Rebbie, Jermaine and Randy, who feel it’s inappropriate to have a tribute concert since there is a criminal trial going regarding Michael’s death. This is the first time in years that Jermaine and Randy have agreed on anything since the two shared a babymomma (Alejandra).

Not only that, the FBI investigation that the Martin family has been pleading for has been granted. But, is all of the nation’s efforts, including those from residents living in the community where Trayvon Martin was killed, enough?
Ed Schultz of MSNBC’s The Ed Show, pointed out on Monday night the many people who have gone scott free because of Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. This law is the very reason why George Zimmerman has not been arrested yet. The man should have been considered a threat and detained because of his past with the Sanford police department if nothing else.
Schultz mentioned Zimmerman’s past arrest for resisting arrest, but he also mentioned that he assaulted an officer. Not only that, Zimmerman has placed 47 calls to Sanford police department prior to this incident. There are plenty of factors present, without an FBI probe, that any second grader could assess and find suspicious enough to call for an arrest warrant on this fool.
The Trayvon Martin story has gathered steam all over the country with outrage that has sparked online petitions and planned protests in Miami-Dade, Florida. Not only that, the FBI investigation that the Martin family has been pleading for has been granted. But, is all of the nation’s efforts, including those from residents living in the community where Trayvon Martin was killed, enough?

But, the law in place protects jerks like Zimmerman stating:
The other shocking element of this law is that just five months after its implementation October 1, 2005, there were 13 self-defense shootings and only one of the individuals that were shot was armed. Six of the people in those shootings were killed.
The national rifle association was somehow able to get this law passed against lawmakers that were against it. Let’s get aware and get busy. There are surely other loophole laws like this one in other states that are keeping criminals like Zimmerman on the street. But, for the Martin case, specifically, use this info to get active on this young man’s case. We couldn’t defend Trayvon, but we can stand up for him and his family now. Use these resources to speak out against this crime and get Zimmerman arrested:
