Chinese police rescued 89 infants kidnapped for sale and arrested 369 people they said were linked to two human trafficking rings this month, state media reported on Wednesday.
In the first case, the traffickers, who were mostly Vietnamese residents, abducted children from Vietnam and sold them in China’s southern regions of Guangdong and Guangxi, the ChinaDaily said, citing an unnamed officer from Guangdong’s provincial department of public security.
In mid-July, police detained 39 suspects in connection with trafficking and rescued eight infants, aged 10 days to seven months, who had been drugged with sleeping pills, the newspaper said.
In another crackdown this month, police arrested 330 people suspected of involvement in the trafficking of baby girls, the newspaper said. The police operation took place across 14 provinces.
‘One child’ policy
The 81 infants rescued in this operation were aged 10 days to four months and are now in the care of institutions, the report said.
Efforts by China, the world’s most populous nation, to contain population growth through a strict “one child” policy, coupled with the country’s long tradition of favoring boys, have contributed to the rise in cases of trafficking in children and women.
Women are sold to men in remote areas who are unable to find brides due to the sex imbalance resulting from China’s one-child which has encouraged sex-selective abortions.
Police set up a special task force in February following the discovery of a child kidnap ring in the Guangxi region, the newspaper said.
Another trafficking operation was broken up in the poor southwestern province of Yunnan this May.
The report said that police have uncovered 39,194 cases of human trafficking in China since April 2009, the majority of the cases involving women or children.
Children were aged from just 10 days to seven months
Tiger Woods has what he calls a minor knee injury and will miss the Wells Fargo Championship next week at Quail Hollow, reports the AP.
Woods says on his website that he has mild sprains of a ligament in his left knee and left Achilles’ tendon. He hurt himself while hitting from an awkward lie on the 17th hole during the third round of the Masters. He continued to play and wound up tied for fourth.
Woods says doctors advise rest and therapy using cold water. He hopes to return in a few weeks.
Woods had also planned to participate in The Players Championship in mid-May.
Somebody’s trying to kill us! Well that may sound a bit extreme, but it may be true. Babies in China drinking a particular brand of powdered milk may be causing infants to start puberty a bit prematurely.
According to reports, three babies between 4 and 15 months have shown signs of that dreaded time in everyone’s life, including growth of breasts!
The babies have the same amount of estradiol
(aka the female sex hormone) as any adult woman. The company responsible for manufacturing the product denies that any of its milk is contaminated with any thing. But I’m not so sure about that.
Remember that lead episode with China. They denied that their toys had poisons in them. Who’s to say their milk doesn’t.
In truth, there is nothing evil, only objective phenomena and experience.
If you want guarantees in life, then you don’t want life. You want rehearsals for a script that’s already been written. Life by its nature cannot have guarantees, or its whole purpose is thwarted.
Tea Party & NAACP just stop it! You two act like children in the school yard playing keep away. Put the ball down, and grow the hell up.
The person of great wisdom needs little sleep.
Nothing in this universe occurs by accident. There is no such thing as an “accident,” nor is there any such thing as “coincidence”.
Power comes from inner strength. Inner strength does not come from raw power. In this, most of the world has it backwards. Power without inner strength is an illusion. Inner strength without unity is a lie. A lie that has not served the race, but that has nevertheless deeply embedded itself into our race consciousness.

Strength and Courage
It takes strength to be certain.
It takes courage to have doubts.
It takes strength to fit in.
It takes courage to stand out.
It takes strength to share a friend’s pain.
It takes courage to feel your own pain.
It takes strength to hide your own pain.
It takes courage to show it and deal with it.
It takes strength to stand guard.
It takes courage to let down your guard.
It takes strength to conquer.
It takes courage to surrender.
It takes strength to endure abuses.
It takes courage to stop them.
It takes strength to stand alone.
It takes courage to lean on a friend.
It takes strength to love.
It takes courage to be loved.
It takes strength to survive.
It takes courage to live.
May you find strength and courage
In everything you do
And may your life be filled with
