Pepsi is bringing back the late Michael Jackson. In a new deal with the Jackson Estate, Pepsi is going to use The King Of Pop’s image in a new marketing campaign. It was back in 1983, when Jackson and Pepsi made headlines because Jackson’s hair caught on fire while filming a Pepsi commercial with his brothers.
Dr. Conrad Murray: this week the girlfriends took the stand and more audio of Jackson speaking to the doctor. Did Michael Jackson have to die? Dr. Murray is on trial for involuntary manslaughter for the death of The King Of Pop. More audio of Michael Jackson was played to the jury. He was talking to Dr. Murray in a slurred, deep voice telling him I Hurt You Know I Hurt. Meanwhile, was Dr. Murray on the phone talking and texting while Jacksonlay dying? Four different women, including a babymomma, testified texting or talking to Dr. Murray the day Jacksondied. None of the women were Dr. Murray’s wife. Yes, he was married at the time! The babymomma had jurors almost laughing when she testified about meeting Jackson on a separate occasion and showing him her baby bump. Another girlfriend, a waitress, testified that on the day Jacksondied she realized something was wrong when Dr. Murray didn’t answer her when they were talking. He forgot to hang up the phone. Dr. Murray’s next call was to Jackson’s personal assistant. Meanwhile, tabloid photos show Dr. Murray at the beach and getting a pedicure while this case is being tried. Hmmmmmmm! Will Dr. Murrayget convicted of negligence? Prosecutors say Dr. Murray gave Michael Jackson a fatal dose of propofol, but Murray’s lawyers maintain Jackson administered the fatal additional dose to himself.
Dr. Conrad Murray is on trial for involuntary manslaughter for the death of The King Of Pop Michael Jackson. The details that have come out so far are mind blowing. There’s a recording of Jackson talking on Dr. Murray’s phone. Jackson’s voice is almost unrecognizable as he spoke in a low, slurred tone about going on with the This Is It concerts. Dr. Murray’s lawyers are challenging the prosecution. They say, for example, that Dr. Arnold Klein addicted Jackson to Demerol without Murray’s knowledge. Dr. Klein was Jackson’s dermatologist and was also rumored to have been the actual biological father of Jackson’s children. Jackson’s staff have testified that his young children were right outside of his room as he lay dying. Dr. Murray even cried in court as his lawyers presented opening arguments. The big question will be why Dr. Murray continued to treat Jackson when his health appeared to be deteriorating so quickly. Prosecutors say not only did Dr. Murray give Michael Jackson the fatal dose of propofol, but the doctor was negligent in his earlier treatment of the singer. Murray’s lawyers maintain Jackson administered additional propofol to himself and that caused the singer’s death.
Another Jackson family feud is brewing. In one corner there is mom Katherine, sister LaToya and brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie. They recently announced plans for a tribute concert for Michael Jackson this fall in Wales. In the other corner, there is Janet, Rebbie, Jermaine and Randy, who feel it’s inappropriate to have a tribute concert since there is a criminal trial going regarding Michael’s death. This is the first time in years that Jermaine and Randy have agreed on anything since the two shared a babymomma (Alejandra).
Sheriff’s detectives are now investigating the reported theft of $192,000 in jewelry and luggage from Jermaine Jackson, reports the AP.
As previously reported, Michael’s Jackson’s older brother reported the theft of watches, rings and other jewelry after returning to Southern California from a vacation in mid-September.
Detectives say so far there are no suspects and no clear leads.
Authorities say Jackson and his wife noticed the items were missing on Sept. 18 and realized that one of the doors of their Calabasas home had been left unlocked.
The top earning dead celebrity of the year is….. Michael Jackson! The King Of Pop’s estate took in $285 million via deals, publishing, movies, CD’s and DVD’s. Despite the millions earned from the estate, the Jackson family is at odds over money. The main money is controlled by the Jackson Estate. Katherine and Joe Jackson recently did a sit down with Oprah Winfrey that will air in November. Mom Katherine is set to reveal that she does not get any money from the Jackson estate. She tells Oprah she gets money from Janet. Mom Katherine has custody of Michael’s three kids. Mom Katherine and Joe Jackson are planning a concert under The Jackson Family Foundation to raise funds to pay off Michael’s debts.
For the record, Michael’s debts are being paid off by the Jackson Estate, and Mom Katherine gets an allowance every month to take of the kids and live comfortably. Why she would make these claims is anyone’s guess.
Joe Jackson is still running things in her life and is obviously putting her up to making these claims. Randy and Rebbie Jackson have distanced themselves from this project saying they’ll have nothing to do with this. At this point, it’s all about the money, and the money issues are tearing the family apart.
Jermaine Jackson says he’s broke, and he can’t afford child support for two of his eight kids. The kids in question are by is ex-wife Alejandra Jackson. Alejandra has two kids by Jermaine and two kids by his brother Randy. Jermaine started seeing Alejandra while she was still involved with Randy. Jermaine is now dating a wealthy Arabian woman, but he claims he can’t make the $3,000 a month child support payment. He says he can only afford $250. Jackson says his career is in the toilet, and business has stalled. He says he can barely make ends meet, and he gets help from his girlfriend. Alejandra is living on the Jackson compound, and she and her kids have been taken care of by Katherine Jackson for years. Jermaine feels Alejandra is lazy, and won’t get a job. The financial pressures are mounting on Katherine Jackson. She has gone to the Jackson estate for more money so she can support not only Michael’s three children, but her children (Randy, Marlon and Jermaine) her other grandkids and hubby Joe Jackson. How much more can Katherine take since she has to take care of so many people?
As we mark the one year anniversary of the death of The King Of Pop, the mystery life of the Jackson kids is being revealed. Michael’s kids spend hours listening to their dad’s music, and they have no friends. They don’t go to school now, but they will be attending a private college in the fall. Prince is into movies and Paris loves music. All the children including Blanket (no one knows who his mother is) spend time with Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of Prince and Paris. Katherine Jackson revealed plans about her new book Never Can Say Goodbye. The book is being sold online at jacksonsecretvault.com. Katherine said she did the book out of love for her son, who was misunderstood. Katherine says she did not do it for money. Meanwhile, the lawyer for the Jackson estate are angry with Katherine. They accused the matriarch of the family of getting involved in business deals with shady characters. The shady and questionable characters are friends of Joe Jackson. Joe Jackson has not been able to make any money from his son’s death (he was left out of the will), so now he’s planning to file a wrongful deathsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray. Murray was Jackson’s personal physician at the time of his death. It was Murray who administered the propofol that led to Jackson’s heart failure. Papa Joe is claiming that Murray was in a strip club drinking hours before Michael’s death.
Get ready for a remake of Sparkle. The 1976 hit movie with Irene Cara, Lonette McKee and Philip Michael Thomas is being remade. The new version will star season six American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks. She will play the title role made famous by Irene Cara. Whitney Houston will play her mother. Mike Epps will play the bad guy the role of “Satin,” who beat “Sister” and got her hooked on drugs. This will be Whitney Houston’s first movie role since the Preacher’s Wife in 1996.

Why did Rapper/Actor T.I. end up back in jail? T.I. was released from jail a month early. He had served 11 months behind bars on a parole violation. He was let out early for good behavior. When he left the Arkansas facility, it was amid a lot of fanfare…. as in a fancy tour bus equipped with cameras. He is doing a reality show for VH1 and producers were on hand for his release. Well prison officials had a fit despite the fact that the guards were taking pictures with T.I. in front of the bus. T.I. was out of jail for one day when he was sent back to serve out another 30 days. Officials claim he was supposed to leave in a van with his wife and manager not a fancy tour bus equipped with cameras. T.I. is expected to be out by the end of the month. I’m sure all the details will be in his new book and VH1 reality show.
