“Outrage Against Violence”

SHARPTON LEADS ‘OUTRAGE’ AGAINST VIOLENCE: Activist joins national rally effort on Nov. 23. Hip-Hop activist Erica Ford, CEO and founder of Life Camp Inc., has partnered with the Rev. Al Sharpton to lead “National Day of Outrage,” a nationwide protest against violence on Nov. 23. Sharpton will lead a rally in Atlanta while other gatherings are scheduled to take place in Houston; Cleveland; Philadelphia; Boston; Syracuse; Savannah; Eunice Louisiana; Greensboro, North Carolina and Los Angeles. The day was organized by Sharpton’s National Action Network and will include families of victims of gun violence, activists, elected officials and concern citizens. “We must be just as vigilant against the shootings that are random, gang related or intentional because we are in a crisis state and too many lives are being forsaken. We’ve got to come together across all lines to fight this battle,” Sharpton said in a statement. Ford – who runs the “Bury Da Beef” program in New York and has worked with rappers like Tupac Shakur, Ja Rule and KRS-One – says of the event, “It takes a village to save a child. The strength that breathes inside of us beats the madness of society. We achieve great success when we don’t accept all the habits as normal behavior. Love your life.”

Army Mom Refuses Deployment over Child Care

ARMY MOM REFUSES DEPLOYMENT OVER CHILD CARE: Alexis Hutchinson may face charges after no one could take in her infant son. A single Army mom could face criminal charges after she skipped her deployment flight to Afghanistan because, she said, no one was available to care for her infant son while she was overseas, the Associated Press reported. Spc. Alexis Hutchinson, 21, claims she had no choice but to refuse deployment orders because the only family she had to care for her 10-month-old son — her mother — was overwhelmed by the task, already caring for three other relatives with health problems as well as running a daycare center. Her civilian attorney, Rai Sue Sussman, said Monday that one of Hutchinson’s superiors told her she would have to deploy anyway and place the child in foster care. Hutchinson, who is from Oakland, Calif., remained confined Monday to the boundaries of Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, 10 days after military police arrested her for skipping her unit’s flight. No charges have been filed, but a spokesman for the Army post said commanders were investigating. Hutchinson’s son, Kamani, was placed into custody overnight with a daycare provider on the Army post after she was arrested and jailed briefly, Larson said. Hutchinson’s mother picked up the child a week ago and took him back to her home in California. Assigned to the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade of the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division, Hutchinson joined the Army in 2007 and had no previous deployments, Sussman said. She said Hutchinson is no longer in a relationship with the father. She said they told her daughter’s commanders they needed more time to find another family member or close friend to help Hughes care for the boy, but Hutchinson was ordered to deploy on schedule. Kevin Larson, a spokesman for Hunter Army Airfield, said he didn’t know what Hutchinson was told by her commanders, but he said the Army would not deploy a single parent who had nobody to care for his or her child. “I don’t know what transpired and the investigation will get to the bottom of it,” Larson said. “If she would have come to the deployment terminal with her child, there’s no question she would not have been deployed.” Larson said officials planned to keep Hutchinson in Georgia as investigators gathered facts about the case.

Men Birth Control Pills?

The University of Washington is trying a pilot program for male contraceptive. Each client will be paid $1,300 in a test subject program. Males will be taking a daily pill to lower there sperm count, helping to deter unwanted pregnancy. In other words making the men more responsible sexually. I guess males using condom is not enough. They have been working on the technology for 30 years. OK here are some of the comments from woman I found quite funny.
1. Take a pill, he can’t even remember our anniversary.
2. This for a man that can’t remember to pickup the kids from day care.
3. I’m a PMS nightmare, what will he become – more moody and defiant
It will be interesting to see the outcome on there test subjects. Do men feel this is a good thing?
What happen to a vasectomy? The bottom line is abstinence and then there is no problems.
How do you know he took the pill, woman lie too. Some women can not get men to even wear condoms, alone take a daily pill.

Heroes

While I was watching the program “Heroes”, I was wondering if this might be true.
How do we know that this is not possible. Yes I know it’s just a TV program. But if
the Bible is true that Jesus came to show mankind the possibilities why not. Today
there are exceptional children being born with gifted intelligence and abilities. Under
10yrs old, doing high school and college problems. Are these children here to show us
the possibilities who knows, but it is sure they are gifted beyond man’s comprehension.

Wonder how do those beings handle what is? This is a fascinating subject. I look at
my child who is a Lawyer, yet we she was a teenager, she was an electronic genius.
No background education in electronics yet, anything electronic she could just figure
it out and put it together, or repair it. How? I would ask, she didn’t know but she could
just do it, like it was a natural thing for her – simply amazing. Glad she went into Law
that was kind of scary. Wonder how the parents of children with special needs comprehend
there children special gifts.

History states each generation is smarter than the next not necessarily wiser, but gainfully
smarter, and quick. Could a super race of individuals be forming and we are not aware.
Or maybe a better understanding of mankind, and how the mind works to create or defeat
it’s future.

Teenage Acne – relief

The best thing for teenage acne is on your shelf or in the fridge.
Plain ole Lemon Juice, does it everytime. You poor about 1/4 cup in
a bowl. With a cotton swab dab it all over your face except the
eye areas. Make sure prior you wash your face real good with
warm to hot water. Then apply lemon juice. You will feel it itch
at first, thats the lemons getting in there killing the germs and
closing the pores. After about 20mins on the face, wash your
face with cool water, and off you go! It’s good if you do this in
the morning and at night prior to bed time.

Your skin will be smooth, and look like sunshine. If you have dry
skin to begin with, suggest a lotion or something without perfumes
or dye to apply after you finish.

RE-CREATING SCHOOLS – part 1

Re-creating school is not all we need to do. We need to make it clear that we are never going to ignite the thinking process and encourage independent inquiry if we allow children to spend twenty hours a week watching television, then twenty hours more glued to video games. Children will not learn much that way.

******************************************************************************
ANSWER: On the contrary, they will learn a great deal. They will learn how to seek instant gratification, how to expect all life problems to resolve themselves in twenty-eight and half minutes, and to vent their frustrations over problems that don’t instantly resolve themselves by using violence.
******************************************************************************

Entertainment industry executives deny that TV, MOVIE, AND VIDEO IMAGES, however violent, are responsible for young people’s violent behavior.

******************************************************************************
ANSWER: Are these the same executives who sell SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS for a half million dollars apiece, claiming that they can influence behaviors in sixty seconds?
******************************************************************************
Kids know it’s “just a game”

******************************************************************************
ANSWER: Do you know what some police and military academies use to teach professionals quick hand-eye coordination, and to shoot to kill without emotion.
(Video Games)

stay tune…….part 2 tomorrow
