The beauty mogul sadly passed away this weekend.
Evelyn died at her Manhattan home on Saturday.
The Estee Lauder senior corporate vice president and founder of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation has been an inspiration to women worldwide.
In her time working at Estee Lauder, founded by her mother-in-law, Evelyn has helped to develop countless lines in skincare, make-up and fragrance, receiving the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
As well as her good business sense, Evelyn is remembered for her warmth, generosity and unrelenting work as a philanthropist.
She was “an American icon”, Tommy Hilfiger has said of his former colleague.

In 1992 she founded the pink ribbon breast cancer campaign alongside friend and fashion editor Alexandra Penney, dishing out the bows at Lauder counters with self-examination charts.
Later the same year she also launched the Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign to raise funds, and the following year the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Nearly 20 years on the ribbon has become a ubiquitous symbol of breast cancer awareness and over 65 million have been distributed. Funds raised have helped to open the Evelyn H Lauder Breast Centre in New York.
Global stocks and the euro fell on Friday as new doubts about Europe’s bailout package and worries over the outcome of a key vote in Greece overshadowed signs of improvement in the U.S. labor market.
Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou faces a vote of confidence, with the fate of the nation’s deal on a euro zone debt bailout and the global economy in the balance.
Analysts declared the outcome too tight to forecast, but had a hunch Papandreou might survive the vote, which is expected as late as midnight in Athens (2200 GMT).
The bid for safe-haven assets rose, with government debt on both sides of the Atlantic gaining after German Chancellor Angela Merkel said few countries in the Group of 20 leading economies had committed to providing more resources for a euro zone rescue fund.
Merkel’s comment eclipsed relief over the decision by Greece on Thursday to ditch controversial plans to hold a referendum on its bailout, a development that initially had calmed fears of an imminent sovereign debt default.
Merkel’s comment highlighted the fragility of the deal reached to rescue Greece. At the heart of the deal is a plan to increase the euro zone’s rescue fund to give it firepower of 1.0 trillion euros.
Signs of some improvement in the U.S. labor market failed to lift the market. Labor Department data showed U.S. hiring slowed in October, but the unemployment rate hit a six-month low and job gains in the prior two months were stronger than previously thought, pointing to some improvement in the still-weak labor market.
Trading has been volatile on quickly changing news from Europe. The U.S. S&P 500 has registered daily swings of more than 1.5 percent this week. The benchmark index, which posted its best month in 20 years in October, was on track to post its first down week in five.
“There’s too much uncertainty going on. What Greece has taught us this week is that just when you think things are certain, they’re actually not,” said Camilla Sutton, chief currency strategist, at Scotia Capital in Toronto.
World stocks measured by the MSCI all-country world index pared losses to trade near break-even on strength in emerging markets. EPFR Global reported $3.5 billion flowed into emerging market equity funds in the week ended Wednesday, the second-largest inflow this year.
In Europe, the FTSEurofirst 300 index of top regional shares slid 1.0 percent to 980.01, erasing early gains. The index posted its first weekly loss in six weeks.
Italian banks UniCredit and Intesa SanPaolo, heavily exposed to Italy’s sovereign debt, fell 6.6 and 4.8 percent, respectively.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who is facing pressure to step down, turned down an offer of funding from the International Monetary Fund, which has placed the country under supervision as it struggles with its debt mountain.
Former American Idol Winner Fantasia had to answer a lot of tough questions this week. Fantasia is scheduled to star as Gospel Great Mahalia Jackson in a big screen movie bio. Fantasia says no contracts have been signed. She was told the investors ran out of money, so she thinks the project is on hold. Reports came out last week producers of the Mahalia project and family members were upset with Fantasia because she is pregnant by a married man. They also claimed she lied about her pregnancy claiming she told them she was gaining weight for the role and not pregnant. Who is telling the truth here? Will this movie ever get made? Fantasia is due at the end of the year. She is not happy with the recent reports about the movie project and questions about her relationship with a married man (Antwaun Cook). This has been a difficult pregnancy for Fantasia.

Dr. Conrad Murray is on trial for involuntary manslaughter for the death of The King Of Pop Michael Jackson. The details that have come out so far are mind blowing. There’s a recording of Jackson talking on Dr. Murray’s phone. Jackson’s voice is almost unrecognizable as he spoke in a low, slurred tone about going on with the This Is It concerts. Dr. Murray’s lawyers are challenging the prosecution. They say, for example, that Dr. Arnold Klein addicted Jackson to Demerol without Murray’s knowledge. Dr. Klein was Jackson’s dermatologist and was also rumored to have been the actual biological father of Jackson’s children. Jackson’s staff have testified that his young children were right outside of his room as he lay dying. Dr. Murray even cried in court as his lawyers presented opening arguments. The big question will be why Dr. Murray continued to treat Jackson when his health appeared to be deteriorating so quickly. Prosecutors say not only did Dr. Murray give Michael Jackson the fatal dose of propofol, but the doctor was negligent in his earlier treatment of the singer. Murray’s lawyers maintain Jackson administered additional propofol to himself and that caused the singer’s death.
LONDON: Britain must stick to its austerity drive and avoid tax cuts while it tries to wipe out a record deficit, Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne said on Saturday, as a senior member of his party accused him of lacking a “coherent and credible” long-term growth plan.
Speaking before his center-right party meets for its annual conference, Osborne said abandoning its public cuts and tax rises would lead to an immediate rise in interest rates that would be “disastrous” for the British economy.
A run of bleak UK economic data, the euro zone debt crisis and worries about the global outlook have stoked fears that Britain could tip back into recession.
The economy has barely grown since September, raising pressure on the Conservative-led coalition to soften its deficit-reduction strategy and do more to stimulate growth.
Osborne said the world’s economic state was “at least as serious” as during the 2008 financial crisis and Britain had to keep cutting its deficit.
“A country with an almost double-digit deficit cannot add to its deficit in the middle of a sovereign debt storm to cut tax, presumably on a temporary basis, because you would have to then put it back up again to deal with the deficit,” he told the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
“I don’t think Britain has the fiscal luxury to do that sort of thing.”
The coalition has repeatedly warned that failing to cut a record peacetime budget deficit that peaked at around 11 percent of gross domestic product could lead to a Greek-style debt crisis.
However, some center-right Conservatives fear the austerity plan will alienate voters already struggling with rising unemployment, low wage growth and inflation running at 4.5 percent, more than double the 2 percent target. The left-wing opposition Labour Party says the plan is choking growth.
Andrew Tyrie, the Conservative chairman of parliament’s influential Treasury committee, said Britain’s long-term growth strategy was “inconsistent, even incoherent” in places.
