The final autopsy findings have been released regarding the death of Whitney Houston. The coroner’s report, which was released this week, confirmed drowning as the cause of death with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors. The singer was actually found face down in her hotel bathtub by her personal assistant. Houston was even scalded by the hot water before the assistant and Houston’s bodyguard could remove her body from the tub. Toxicology tests already found cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs in Houston’s system. The final report also noted there were drugs found in the hotel bathroom, including a mirror with traces of a white-powdery substance and a spoon with a white-crystal type substance in an ashtray full of cigarette butts. Prescription drugs were also in the bathroom. The coroner’s report concluded that Houston’s death was accidental.
Then there’s the tabloid photo from the private viewing. Apparently, someone with access took a photo of Houston at the private viewing and sold it to the National Enquirer. Unlike a staged photo that leaked earlier, this one is apparently authentic. This will be another burden for the family.
Back to Bobbi Kris, is she being used a pawn? Major networks are lining up to get their first interview with her. Can she handle the pressure? And, who will have her best interest at heart? She is facing a lot…… the tabloids are even running pictures of Whitney in the casket and in the morgue. The stories are endless about the family turmoil.
SIDEBAR: I hope Cissy Houston sues somebody, this is sad.

A pair of talk radio hosts in Los Angeles have been yanked off the air temporarily for making insensitive and inappropriate comments about the late Whitney Houston.
Effective immediately, KFI AM 640 hosts John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou have been suspended after calling the late singer a “crack ho” and saying she was “cracked out for 20 years,” according to audio posted online at UrbanInformer.com.
KFI AM 640 management says it does not condone, support or tolerate statements of this kind.
John Kobylt said, “We made a mistake, and we accept the station’s decision. We used language that was inappropriate, and we sincerely apologize to our listeners and to the family of Ms. Houston.”
John and Ken, who often rail against taxes and illegal immigration, will return to the air Monday, Feb. 27.

Houston leaves behind a family torn apart with a lot of bickering and finger pointing. Who could have saved Whitney Houston? Her last days were crazy, and the end result: she’s dead at the age of 48. A lot of criticism and blame has been aimed at her ex-husband Bobby Brown. Brown, who has battled his own demons, cannot be blamed for her demise. They had a tumultuous relationship and marriage from 1992-2007. They had a daughter Bobbi Kris. The split wasn’t pleasant, and they both moved on with their lives. Their relationship was well chronicled in the reality show Being Bobby Brown. Brown is devastated. Over the past year, he has lost both his parents and now his ex-wife. He is going to have to be strong for his daughter, who needs him right now. Brown is currently on tour with New Edition. Look for the leeches to come out of the woodwork to sell their stories about Houston. Those around her have a lot to say, but who could have stepped in to really help her? A lot of people who were close to her are feeling guilty, and wondering what they could have done to really help Whitney Houston. One of the greatest voices ever: she may be gone, but she’ll never be forgotten.

At her peak, Houston the golden girl of the music industry. From the middle 1980s to the late 1990s, she was one of the world’s best-selling artists. She wowed audiences with effortless, powerful, and peerless vocals that were rooted in the black church but made palatable to the masses with a pop sheen.
Her success carried her beyond music to movies, where she starred in hits like “The Bodyguard” and “Waiting to Exhale.”
She had the perfect voice, and the perfect image: a gorgeous singer who had sex appeal but was never overtly sexual, who maintained perfect poise.
She influenced a generation of younger singers, from Christina Aguilera to Mariah Carey, who when she first came out sounded so much like Houston that many thought it was Houston.
But by the end of her career, Houston became a stunning cautionary tale of the toll of drug use. Her album sales plummeted and the hits stopped coming; her once serene image was shattered by a wild demeanor and bizarre public appearances. She confessed to abusing cocaine, marijuana and pills, and her once pristine voice became raspy and hoarse, unable to hit the high notes as she had during her prime.
“The biggest devil is me. I’m either my best friend or my worst enemy,” Houston told ABC’s Diane Sawyer in an infamous 2002 interview with then-husband Brown by her side.
It was a tragic fall for a superstar who was one of the top-selling artists in pop music history, with more than 55 million records sold in the United States alone.
She seemed to be born into greatness. She was the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston, the cousin of 1960s pop diva Dionne Warwick and the goddaughter of Aretha Franklin.
Houston first started singing in the church as a child. In her teens, she sang backup for Chaka Khan, Jermaine Jackson and others, in addition to modeling. It was around that time when music mogul Clive Davis first heard Houston perform.
“The time that I first saw her singing in her mother’s act in a club … it was such a stunning impact,” Davis told “Good Morning America.”
“To hear this young girl breathe such fire into this song. I mean, it really sent the proverbial tingles up my spine,” he added.
Before long, the rest of the country would feel it, too. Houston made her album debut in 1985 with “Whitney Houston,” which sold millions and spawned hit after hit. “Saving All My Love for You” brought her her first Grammy, for best female pop vocal. “How Will I Know,” “You Give Good Love” and “The Greatest Love of All” also became hit singles.
Another multiplatinum album, “Whitney,” came out in 1987 and included hits like “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
The New York Times wrote that Houston “possesses one of her generation’s most powerful gospel-trained voices, but she eschews many of the churchier mannerisms of her forerunners. She uses ornamental gospel phrasing only sparingly, and instead of projecting an earthy, tearful vulnerability, communicates cool self-assurance and strength, building pop ballads to majestic, sustained peaks of intensity.
Is Whitney Houston Broke? Houston is said to be having financial problems. She can no longer perform live and never wrote any of her music. Sources close to the superstar are shutting down reports of her being in financial trouble. Houstonwill be starring in the remake of the 1976 film classic Sparkle with Jordin Sparks. Houston is being urged to write a tell-all book about her life. The music business, the drugs, how the excesses almost killed her and her life with her ex, Bobby Brown, would all have to be in the book. If she tells the truth, the book could be an instant bestseller with copies in the millions!
Whitney Houston has checked back into rehab. Houston has a problem, and she realizes she needs help. There have been rumors for a while that Houston has been indulging in drugs and alcohol, but now it has been confirmed. Houston is trying to get herself ready for the movie Getting To Happy, which is the sequel to her box office hit Waiting To Exhale. The original movie came out in 1995, and all the original stars are coming back for the sequel (Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine and Lela Rochon). Forest Whitaker will be directing, and Terry McMillan just finished the movie script. Will Houston be ready to step in front of the cameras? Can she beat her addictions? The past year has been rough for her. Her daughter with Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kris, has been a nightmare with wild partying and drugs. Her ex, Bobby Brown, has remarried and has started a new family. Houston’s last tour overseas was rocky, so she needs this movie. Her rehab is on an outpatient basis. When she is in public, she has a sponsor who monitors her moves.
Whitney Houston is in a desperate bid to save her only child from her mistakes. The past couple of weeks have been terrible for 18-year old Bobbi Kristina. An old boyfriend leaked photos of Bobbi Kris snorting cocaine to the tabloids, and there were rumors of a sex tape. The sex tape was never made public because she was under 18 at the time. A few years ago, Bobbi Kris appeared out of control when photos appeared on line showing her smoking and making out with girls. Can Whitney help save her daughter? With family intervention, Whitney says yes. Whitney knows her own problems with substance abuse, and she doesn’t want her daughter to go through the same problems. Bobbi Kris’s dad Bobby Brown is in total denial about his daughter proclaiming She Would Never Do Drugs, even though she admitted it. Brown has been on the road promoting his new solo project, Masterpiece, and working on a New Edition reunion, which would include an album and a tour.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kris is going to have to be watched. She wants to change her name to Kristina Houston as she distances herself from her father Bobby Brown. Bobbi Kris wants to embark on an acting and singing career. She is also getting very close to her unofficial adopted brother, 22-year old Nicholas Gordon. He was unofficially adopted by Whitney when he was 10. He and Bobbi Kris are very close, and have acting in a manner that is not brother and sister like. Bobbi Kris is in state of turmoil since her mother’s death. She’s been leaning on Gordon for support, but is he taking advantage of her for his own financial gain? Friends are also worried about Cissy Houston, Whitney’s mom. The family betrayal has torn apart her heart. Bobbi Kris won’t stay with her in New Jersey. Cissy feels with Bobbi Kris being in Atlanta, the influence of the wrong people will come into the mix. Meanwhile, Bobby Brown just returned from Africa with New Edition. He is very hurt by the actions of his daughter, and how people keep trying to drag his name through the mud. So far, he has been quiet. But, when he opens up, what will he say?
